I can't find the quote now but I remember they are supposed to go down a
steep cobblestoned street --we had a lot of posts about where that street might be, I think thru a market/shopping street w/ museums on it? I'll have to go look...
But nice on the building! Does GE do cobblestones??

• As for the challenges, “We’ve really outdone ourselves in the department of outrageousness,” Van Munster declares. “We have a situation in Bolivia where we have the [contestants] go down a cobblestone hill on very, very primitive bikes, and it’s just the most hilarious thing you’ve ever seen in your life. It’s a truly bone-jarring experience
Until more info comes in, it may be a waste of time looking for a particular cobblestone street. Our blogger friend saw the bikes at
Plaza Abaroa in the Sopocachi neighborhood, and as this
blog implies, cobblestone is everywhere:
I walked up and down the cobblestone streets of Sopacachi...
Street map
here ; in fact, many good South American maps at the
source page .
and thanks Chateau!

Should be hilarious for me to watch, but probably not so funny for the racers -- at least, at the time.

This is El Prado. The boulevard where teams will start their rides on the wooden bikes.

Thank you for the videos and screencaps puddin!
Good jobs Boingo and Chateau!!
Okay, do ALL the teams do the bikes? Because cholitas is the roadblock, so if it is a detour choice both team members do it.
But I'm getting the feeling it is a get a clue at the end kind of thing that everyone has to do...right? Maybe the very first task?

Peach, i agree and think the bikes will be a task like the candy. also looking at the video by the wrestling. are the last 3 teams, geeks, pinkies, eyebrows? if so it looks like tina/ken get out first that would leave a race btw pinkies and geeks for elimination. When Toni is cheering for Dallas we see most of the teams sat in a line
