*One team's failure to properly read a clue causes them to dig and dig and dig for a treasure that doesn't exist…will they realize their time-wasting mistake before its too late?
Quote
I painted the letters on the wall because the challenge was to read it all in Portuguese and find the key phrase. The key phrase was: Cidade Da Crianca (it’s a place in Fortaleza downtown like a big square where the teams need to take a taxi and run to that place to do another challenge, but before they needed to tell me the key and I gave them the envelope.
I can't figure out what would make "cidade da crianca" stand out from the other wall places. Maybe something they have to pick up during their tasks is the key that unlocks Nivaldo's wall.

...could be as they both are doing it..  (we already know the wall writing is a roadblock)

And the other option is searching for something in the sand?
So what comes first? The Buggys or Boats?

I'm pretty sure thats both male teams in the water ..I can't be sure about Mark & Bill though

Clues:
THE INTENSITY OF TRAVELING AROUND THE WORLD CAUSES SEVERAL TEAMS TO START MAKING THE MOST SIMPLE MISTAKES THAT COULD COST THEM THE GAME, ON "THE AMAZING RACE 13," SUNDAY, OCT. 5
 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"Do You Like American Candy" —
*The Race is in full swing heading into the second leg when Teams start making simple mistakes - from misreading clues to blindly following their competition, on THE AMAZING RACE 13, Sunday, Oct. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

*A game of blindly following the leader forces two girls to unwillingly get their very clean hands dirty.

*After being slighted by team after team, one desperate couple is thrilled by another team's surprising "class act" move.

*One Racer gloats about convincing an airline to perform an unbelievable move…so unbelievable that a fight breaks out over how true the story really is.

*One team's failure to properly read a clue causes them to dig and dig and dig for a treasure that doesn't exist…will they realize their time-wasting mistake before its too late?

Yes but what are the detours? lol ......and which girls get their hands dirty? and do the buggys come after the Jagada's? or before?
Jagada  to-- detour, move the Jagada up the beach something? Buggy to waiting taxi's to Roadblock
Jagada  to --detour, find something in the surf? Buggy to waiting taxi's to Roadblock

if so then the blonds pass at least one team, DanDrew and maybe Mark and Bill if thats them in the water.

Is that right?

bringing this over

I'm sorry to have to revise yet again...but here goes:

(My guess that teams go to Iracema Beach in Fortaleza is a bad one.)

Something better has come into view!

This shot was taken here:   Pecém

I was able to match up the tower, the roofline and the trees to a location in Pecém just east of Fortaleza.

At this location, teams have just arrived by Jangada, they get off and run over to the waiting dune buggies.

The key to this location is that it is right next to a Shipping Container Port where there are those tall cranes.

See this Panoramio

And since this is the roadblock and the pitstop follows, the blonds must be ahead of some teams ... and I think they are safe. "we might be slow but we're not stupid"

It looks like they just roll the silly things.  No real sea-fairing going on.  I'm guessing that the Detour options are Jangada roll or buggy ride.  The buggies are all lined up like the Jangadas.

The mooner could just be tourists on the beach.

I dont know? unless they mess up on the way to the pitstop? car problems? anything can happen.
Do I think they make it 1 more leg? I don't know? We still have La Paz and Auckland, time will tell. I really like them, I don't want anyone eliminated wahhhhhhhhhhhhh

My only thought is that they seem really happy after the roadblock, and the comment in the car about not being stupid could be after that.

But by the beach, that's a pretty sad face...are they behind? know it? having trouble?

Any chance  the Pitstop could be  where Kelley and Christie are at night? Sure looks Pitstopy, or guess they could be talking to another team...
