My only thought is that they seem really happy after the roadblock, and the comment in the car about not being stupid could be after that.

But by the beach, that's a pretty sad face...are they behind? know it? having trouble?

Any chance  the Pitstop could be  where Kelley and Christie are at night? Sure looks Pitstopy, or guess they could be talking to another team...
The pitstop sure looks like Cidade Da Crianca to me, we see the confessionals there as well as Tina & Ken running near the gates towards it plus Nivalso tells us that the Roadblock unlocks a key that sends them to Cidade Da Crianca. I think the night shots of Christy and Kelly are the beginning of the leg for next week. Its in page 1 second post of thsi thread at the bottom Michael.

I agree Marisa and Brooke are done with the roadblock when we see the not stupid comment, see the pen in hand?

Thanks Puddin...
If Marisa and Brooke are done with the roadblock, I'll  say that Anthony and Stephanie are dunzo this week.

Well thats my guess too but like I said, anything could happen on the way to the pit stop so?
I don't even know Anthony and Steph, its as if they don't exist .. where is their story? Marisa and Brooke ..I'm not ready for them to go *crys* so I hope its not them.

This nighttime shot is the best explanation for the late start that teams get on leg 3.  That is to say, it shows that their first clue is not to go to La Paz but instead they have to go to the Fortaleza beach scene for their first clue.  That could involve hours of operation delays too.  Somehow we need a way for them to burn some time prior to making the flights to  get to La Paz.

The Fortaleza Roadblock happens from morning to 2:00 pm on April 25th according to our brush master spoiler.  They check in within an hour of that.

Then we see Mark on oxygen after getting whopped by a Cholita at high noon on April 27th (my guess of date and time).   This happens near and above El Alto airport (La Paz).

Yeah i know, but it doesn't sound like something a lady would say.........more like something someone younger would say you know? That's what I think anyway, time will tell.

I don't want Anthony & Stephanie to go yet, I don't really know them.

Send home Terence instead.

It's becoming the race tradition; last season the ignored team was Marianna & Julia.

This episode was pretty cool, and it was MUCH easier to map than Ep 1.   Here's what I've got so far, including future locations:

They were jangadeiros, after all: Training and Development of Fishermen. Probably a regional co-operative/union.

Oh such a nice catch, slowhatch! I wondered who those guys were, but was thankful they had them there or the girl teams would have had a real problem...

Great map!  What I can't figure out is where did Terrance & Sarah go when they left the Detour.  IIRC they walked West (ocean to their right) and then a bit inland.  The map shows lots of buildings there, but it looks like it is not along the way the other teams' taxis took to get back to town.  And we did see the other teams in taxis passing them by.

Here is a look at where things were for the Detour in Pecém.

It looks like Terrance & Sara went about 2 and half miles out of their way to contemplate buying ice cream.

There must have been a trick to get to right answer, but it escaped everyone, so the easiest way to solve the problem was just to write everything down and read it back to the painter.  Phil did hint that the way to solve the problem was to ape the locals and just lay back and relax.  But there must have been a way to solve it without having to write it all down.  Any ideas

WALL OF WORDS
Arriving at Parque de Vaquejada in first place, best friends Mark & Bill opened their clue to discover the first Road Block on the race. In it, one team member had to locate the name of their next destination, Cidade Da Crianca, somewhere along a 600-foot wall. To accomplish it quickly, racers had to embrace the laidback local culture and resist the urge to over think the numerous Portuguese ads surrounding it.

Bill began to walk along the long wall littered with ads, words, and symbols hoping to unlock the mystery of his next destination.

In Bolivia, there are a lot of parks and plaza for the laidback culture. So parks and plaza are the best answers.

Other clues are university, museum, marketplace, theatre, mausoleum, avenue, statue, estate, house of....

University is for students.
Marketplace is for consumers.
Avenue is for transportation.
Statue is for memorial.
Mausoleum is for resting place.
etc....

The wall is long and the clue is at the end of the wall.
Best way is to write down everything.  Save a trip of going back and forth.
