The key phrase was: Cidade Da Crianca (it’s a place in Fortaleza downtown like a big square where the teams need to take a taxi and run to that place to do another challenge, but before they needed to tell me the key and I gave them the envelope. I’m having difficulty explaining all the details because I’m just learning English and am not good, excuse my mistakes. . heres the spoiler just sticking this here Cidade da Criança and more photos 0f Fortaleza - Cidade da Criança

I'm sorry to have to revise yet again...but here goes: (My guess that teams go to Iracema Beach in Fortaleza is a bad one.) Something better has come into view! This shot was taken here: Pecém I was able to match up the tower, the roofline and the trees to a location in Pecém just east of Fortaleza. At this location, teams have just arrived by Jangada, they get off and run over to the waiting dune buggies. The key to this location is that it is right next to a Shipping Container Port where there are those tall cranes. See this Panoramio

Heres a thought: Do we know when they might arive in Brazil? I remember last season in Ireland they arrived in the evening, got 1 clue, and stayed in a hotel for the night. They might do that again this season, which would explain the change in clothes.

So the 23rd is the candy tasks with HoursOfOperation and the 24th would have to be the Elevator and Maritime Terminal/Fort tasks making that leg 1. Maybe I was reading to much into the press release because we know they have to be in Fortaleza on the morning of the 25th.

If wind machines ever do appear in our promos this would be a candidate location: Parque Eólico, TaíbaIt's about 9 miles by dune buggy through the sand from the place where teams hit the beach on the Jangadas. And Ecological Park has a good Pit Stop ring to it.

north09, that's why we have timelines and flight information in a separate thread. The latest one from 8/20 says: 4/22, leg 1 LAX DFW AA2446 1250 1740 connecting in Dallas with DFW GRU AA963 1945 0750+1 connecting Sao Paulo with GRU SSA JJ3896 0830 1055 or JJ3174 1035 1250 LAX MIA AA252 1355 2142 connecting in Miami with MIA GRU 2330 0830+1 connecting Sao Paulo with GRU SSA JJ3174 1035 1250 LAX GRU UA843 1405 1005+1 with a stop in ORD from 2005 to 2132 connecting in Sao Paulo with GRU SSA JJ3154 1200 1425 There are other possiblities for the American flight from Miami to connect in Rio, but they can arrive no earlier than the later TAM Aereas Lineas flight into Salvador. So the answer to your question is 1055, 1250, or 1425 unless there were flight delays and/or bad weather (which may have happened if you believe the sighting of a route through Rio).

Did they sleep at the fort? Better question, could they sleep at the fort? I was thinking the fort was the second day going by the article. My thinking is the the teams went to the 19 BC military base to sign up for ferry rides to the fort. *In the morning of this thursday (day 24), the competitors of reality show had had that to go down, in the style rappel, the 70 meters of the Lacerda Elevator. To carry through the test, that called the attention who passed for the place, the filming team installed a net to the long one of the elevator. * Until the moment, already they had served of location for the international production the Square of the Sé, the Inclined Plan Gonçalves, the Order Third of the San Francisco (Historical Center), the Slope of the Carmo and the staircase of the Paço *Still inside of the actions of the program, new writings are foreseen tomorrow, of this time in the Maritime Terminal of Salvador, in the Commerce

And if they are on Forte São Marcelo and thats the pitstop how do they get off? Waiting ferries? I can't find a schedule anywhere. I suppose they could be on the Mercado Modelo the nearby docks and perhaps Mark & Bills confessional is from the free time they have in between the legs day to next day leg 1. Do you still think they sleep in the jungle Chateau ?
