The only time I've cried while watching TV has been:
·Hearing: GO KAREEEN!!
·Hearing a confessional of the Bowling Moms while they were paddling to the PitStop.
·Hearing a sweet and peaceful Philippinean voice in TAR 5.
·Hearing Phil eliminating them.
·Seeing them leaving the race.

For me, that has been the saddest moment in the history of TV (IMO), and another sad moment was NOT seeing the Bowling Moms in TARAllStars.

I agree too. The serene place of Palawan + elimination of the mommies = :'( :'( :'(
BTW, try Philippine (instead of Philippinean)

Here are my list of saddest elims:

S1: David and Margaretta
S2: N/A
S3: N/A
S4: N/A
S5: Charla and Mirna, Nancy and Emily Linda and Karen
S6: N/A
S7: Meredith and Gretchen
S8: Gaghan Family
S9: Fran and Barry
S10: David and Mary, Peter and Sarah
S11: Oswald and Danny, David and Mary
S12: Kynt and Vyxsin
S13: Toni and Dallas, Kelly and Christy
S14: Christie and Jodi, Mel and Mike
S15: Eric and Lisa, Maria and Tiffany
S16: Carol and Brandy (for me), Jody and Shannon, Steve and Allie

HAPPY SEASONS OVERALL
TAR 3: Derek and Drew (Flo and Zach won!!)
TAR 5: Kami and Karli (Chip and Kim won!)
TAR 7: Meredith and Gretchen (Uchenna and Joyce won, which saved the season for me)
TAR 12: (Favourite team came in first and second, saddest moment was Ron and Chris not winning)
TAR 14: Christie and Jodi, Kisha and Jen, Mel and Mike (Thank God overall favourite Tammy and Victor won)
TAR 15: (Favourite team came in first and third)

NEUTRAL
TAR 6: Lena and Kristy (Kris and Jon didn't win....)
TAR 8: Gaghans (SIGH)

BAD SEASONS FOR ME
TAR 4: Tian and Jaree (Kelly and Jon didn't win...)
TAR 9: (Like none of the teams particularly, saddest moment was BJ and Tyler winning)
TAR 10: David and Mary (SIGH, Bamas didn't win either)
TAR Allstars: Uchenna and Joyce, Oswald and Danny (SIGH)
TAR 13: Terence and Sarah, Toni and Dallas (Bad bad season like Allstars, favourite team came in 4th and 5th)
TAR 16: Jody and Shannon, Steve and Allie (Jet and Cord, didn't win. Sigh)

From season 12 onwards, besides Ron and Chris and Tammy and Victor which i particularly like... i have no overwhelming sadness as of those eliminations in earlier season. I remembered myelf tearing when Gaghans, Meredith and Gretchen and Lena and Kristy were eliminated.

I want to add the list....

On Season 6: Jonathan and Victoria.

Ethiopia was very very beautiful, both scenery, culture, and people. And for the craziest couple to go through a descending drama (starting from bickering up to "we're-throwing-the-white-flag" check-in at Pitstop), tears ran down to my cheeks.

Even though they were fighting, Jonathan praising himself, Victoria whining, I really liked them because they were entertaining. For me, this was a sad elimination.

BTW, why weren't they chosen to be on All-Stars? ??? They should have been!  :groan:

I want to AGAIN add on the list...

On Season 6: Lori and Bolo

DAMN IT! Screw those Hours of Operation! (But, if it were no Hours of Operation, they would be out in Hungary) :'(

Even though they fight fight fight, I love them because they've got humor, and they entertain me! I cried when they were last in the Sri Lankan Leg.... :'(

the saddest elimination ever was S10: Dustin and Kandice.!!!!!!!! that sucked so much..because they were great competidors..they worked so har..but saddely, bad luck hit them on that 10 leg...but at least they came back on the all-stars season; where they rocked all thae way winning the most legs but unfortunely were robbed again.!
But they still are the best-ranked all-female team EVER....and also, people remember them for their competitive spirit and for beating the intersected fast-forward team (that was epic).
Since Rob Mariano has been in three seasons of survivor, i hope they decide to do an another all-stars amazing race, and put them again on the race, that will be awesome..!!!!! <3 Dustin And Kandice <3

I was unhappy about Dustin/Kandice's elimination in AR10, but they were responsible for it themselves by missing the North American Ranch and Horse Farm sign in Idelssan. It was not bad luck that did them in. In AR11 they finished second because of an inferior taxi driver from Oakland International Airport to the Grateful Dead House and then to the Old Mint.

I disagree with you...they make a mistake by missing the farm..mistakes come from bad luck not from no being responsible.! And if you re-watch the season 11 finale...you'll see that Dustin and Kandice arrive FIRST at the Old Mint, then they left in second from there and ultimately hit the mat as 2nd place....i had no idea about that slow cab from the airport to the grateful dead house.!!

The Black family

Definitely. I watched that episode with the intent of watching the full season, but I still haven't ever gotten around to watching Ep. 2.

I'd say that the 3 saddest for me have been:
3rd: Monique & Shawne. I can't resist eliminations being at nights. It is as if teams were left in the middle of the road in the middle of the night... :(
2nd: Meredith & Gretchen. They would have rocked in the final leg. Same as Monique & Shawne too.
1st: Linda & Karen! I said that before.

I agree that Monique and Shawne's elimination was hard. They tried so hard to loop and loop. Their elimination reminded me of Lena rolling haybales.

Darn the 9th place all-female curse. :(

Zev & Justin.  I wanted to root for them so much since Zev was an Aspie like I am.  But the passport thing was just devastating.

Maria & Tiffany.  That damn Detour was too physical either way, and hopefully, the producers will learn from that fiasco and not ever make two physical Detours again in case of a women's team making it that far.

Also agreeing with Monique & Shawne.  That leg was just way too physical for them, and the lasso didn't help them at all.

Joe & Heidi.  Joe wasn't my favorite by any stretch of the imagination, but seeing him trying to comfort Heidi, who was trying so hard not to cry, in the trenches while they were both so cold was heartbreaking.  And all because their race was ended by two douchebags who didn't think strategically, but instead made things completely personal with them (with Joe, especially), yet are still so loved around here for some reason.
