"Big Brother" Live Eviction Show Returns to its Regular Summer Thursday 8:00 PM Time Period

BIG BROTHER 10 WEDNESDAY will move to Thursday, beginning next week, switching time periods with GREATEST AMERICAN DOG.

The switch returns the weekly BIG BROTHER live eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, to its familiar summer Thursday (8:00-9:00 PM) time period, effective July 31.

This week's Wednesday broadcast (4.1/07, 6.22m) improved on the previous week's premiere by +5% in households (from 3.9/07), +13% in adults 25-54 (2.6/08 from 2.3/07), +17% in adults 18-49 (2.1/07 from 1.8/06) and added +460,000 viewers (from 5.76m, +8%).

In its three broadcasts, GREATEST AMERICAN DOG is averaging 4.9/09 in households, 7.52 million viewers, 2.4/08 in adults 25-54 and 1.8/06 in adults 18-49. GREATEST AMERICAN DOG's move to Wednesday (8:00-9:00 PM) is effective July 30.

"Tuesday's earthquake didn’t last longer than 15 seconds, but it was enough to send some in Hollywood shaking.

At the “Big Brother” house in Studio City, the tremors sent the houseguests on CBS’s reality series running for the “backyard”; the house is built inside a soundstage. Because “Big Brother” cast members aren’t allowed any communication with the outside world, producers informed them of the earthquake over a PA.

“A lot of them are not from California, so this is the first earthquake they’ve experienced,” says series executive producer Allison Grodner. “Everyone was a bit shaken.”

But cameras never stopped taping. The show airs live online 24 hours a day. “We made sure they felt safe. But they went back to business right after,” she said, explaining that they’ve still got to decide who next to eliminate on Wednesday’s episode..."

Acutally this year they will be live becuase the time difference is 12 hours, so all the finals of the popular sports like swimming and gymnastics to name a couple are scheduled to be in the AM china's time so that they are in primetime for the US. Now you can watch them again Puddin.

In Detroit, the Lions will be on tape delay at 9 p.m. so Big Brother will be seen live on WWJ at 8 p.m. I was checking on the NFL schedule for my blog today and noticed that the Lions game will not be shown live in the Motor City.

I meant unfair in a fan stance, not an updater, but they are giving us less BB for a season, I don't know maybe they have just gotten to me and I am overwhelmed because I saw somewhere that BB could be a midseason replacement again

At this point it could just be a very slim possibility, it would have to occur three nights a week, so a lot of new show would have to fail for it to happen. Hopefully I think we should be safe, once a year is enought for me too.

BB does not have reunion shows, only Survivor does.
I'll guess that BB does the final 3 the same way they did the season that shall not be mentioned. A fast foward of sorts final 3, 3 part HOH comp.
Funny thing is , when i go to the season that shall not be mentioned their official site is no where to be found, I guess CBS wants to forget it ever happened as well, lol

Now that is funny :fuuny: I think they do the FF this week and then we will have 5 left after the two evictions. They have the eviction next thurs and that brings us down to 4 and then the following week we get down to three, the show will end with the endurance comp, as is normal like back in season 8. Then on Saturday they will have the second part of the HOH comp for the remaining two non winners and then on Sunday they will have the live show with the final part of the HOH comp with Julie and then we will know who are final 2 are and then on monday we will have the jury question the final 2 and then the live show and a winner on the 16th, that works out correctly doesn't it, or am I making up a week in my head? For the season that shall not be mentioned they recorded the show where Sharon was evicted and then blacked out the entire first part of the HOH comp, it wasn't until later that we knew what happened from the talking.
