I included a link to the GE .kmz file...just double click on the file name, then Open it, and it should startup GE automatically and go right there.  Then in GE enable the "Panoramio" anf GE Community" options and you can see street views.  I'm looking right now for any match on the hedge.

Tverskoy Boulevard (Russian: Тверской бульвар) is one of the main thoroughfares in central Moscow. It is a part of the Boulevard Ring and begins at the end of the Nikitsky Boulevard, at the crossing with Nikitsky Street. The boulevard ends at the Pushkin Square and Tverskaya Street, one of the busiest places in Moscow. East of Tverskaya Street becomes Strastnoy Boulevard.

   No hedges on the Blvd., but Pushkin Square (just north) seems to have some (low) hedges.

According to Google, it takes around 4 minutes to get from Pushkin Square to the Bulgakov House Museum by driving, and 13 by walking.

You asked where the sreet was, after hearing there was a m/f team nearby, I stayed out looking around for a bit, the place was called Tverskoy bulvar, I honestly have no idea about the hedge, the hedge seperates two roads apart that's all, the hedge was also 1 - 2 miles long. I saw them at around 4:00pm, we went to the resteraunt about 7:00pm meaning that if there was a m/m team, it would have been from 4:30 to around 6:30. I say they were the 2nd team because I was told that another team had came through, it could be that they are 3rd or 4th, but there was a team ahead and a team behind, could be two teams behind. I expect it to be a m/f because it is unlikely that two m/m teams are left in the final 3 or 4, but it could well have been m/m. In the resteraunt it was just an ordinary elderly couple who sat next to us.

   Hey peach, just for kicks, can you ask your contact if its really Tverskoy Boulevard or another street called Tsvetnoy Boulevard     

The description of the "hedge" dividing two roads fits Tsvetnoy also.  Maybe not, but they both sound the same.  Did a quick check and the other boulevard has some interesting shrubbery.

   It's worth a shot.  Tsvetnoy Boulevard got my attention when I learned that the Moscow Circus is located there.      Bit of a stretch, huh?

I cant really pinpoit the location anymore, I was only there for 30 minutes, it was probably near the end of the street because his car was parked at the end. I think it was seperating a large road from a smaller road, the smaller road had very large houses on teh outskirts. The date I saw the team was 13th May, which is why I say they were probably on the way out of Russia.

We know they took the monorail into Moscow per Robyn, that does not mean that they could not have been instructed to take a car from there but why would he be running with a backpack if his car is parked nearby? unless he had dumped the car at this point but still where is his partner, why no pictures of the camera men.

This close to the end, it's more likely it is fake. The frat boys were spotted in Portland as decoys. They probably get eliminated before Moscow.

To add to your list I also don't see a yellow tag on his bag. If he has one at all it could be blue - meaning production, but he doesn't look like a production guy either. It could just be that I can't see because the photos are too blurry.

I think it could be false.

Since we know it is La PAz, I am coming up with this so far:

Acho and other witches, medicine women, folk doctors, astrologers, fortunetellers, and sorcerers live and work on the Calle Linares, a cobblestone street in an old quarter of La Paz known for generations as the Mercado de las Brujas, or Witches' Market.

Calle Jaen with its cobblestone street, balconies and stone doorways makes you think you are in Spain. There are four museums here: Museo del Litoral, Museo de Metales Preciosos Pre-Colombinos, Museo de Instrumentos Musicales, and the Casa de Don Pedro Domingo Murillo (first door on the left in the picture). The Museo Costumbrista Juan de Vargas is on Sucre just to the right from where the picture was taken.

But cobblestone streets seem to be everywhere!

Not to put a too fine point on it, and questionable sighting aside, BVM gave some interesting hints about the Moscow leg.  He was quoted as saying " ...A by-train-or-by-bus scavenger hunt in Moscow."

Given the 4.2km monorail connects two Metro stations, could the Moscow leg be something like the previous TAR (Romber) London leg, where the racers were limited to public transportation (subway).

Moscow has a huge subway system and very bad traffic jams.  Perhaps they can decide to get from one location to another using either the bus or train (subway/monorail).  (Cabs could take too long in this city.)

Just a thought.
