We had six teams leaving through Bangkok airport to Delhi.  That assume that the pit stop in Siem Reap was a non-elimination stop.

Probably an elimination stop in Delhi, so that leaves five teams on the way to Dubai.

Two more elimination stops, and probably two more non-elimination stops.

So we have four more locations before the return to USofA

We didn't have non-elims last time at all, did we?? --BVM said they had done away with them? So don't know about this time, but we can't count on non-elims....

No we can't, but I think that there will be multiple TBCs or non-elims. The reason is because if they don't then AR13 with 11 teams will have only 8 episodes. That's a bit few.

Yeah damnit I want both.  Still pissed about 11 episodes.  I would hope with the ratings success last season they would go back to 13 episodes.

I heard somewhere at TAR 13 Wiki  that they were going back to 13 legs but that is probably speculation

I'm pretty sure 5 teams went through Bangkok to Delhi, the African American eliminated in Siem Reap/ Angkor.

So are we getting really close to the finale?

One or two more locations only before the end?

They have been racing 16 days...

Thats what I was thinking. The girls said the race goes for 1 month, so with 11 teams, the legs should last about 2 days.

I believe that they had 3 non-elimination legs, but no taking of money, or backpacks, and no begging.  The non-eliminated team just had to win the next leg.

They had two non elimination legs in season 12.  And we had a new penalty (that was given in the next episode, sorry Michael couldn't resist).  The speed Bump where the teams had an additional task that only they had to do.  Those teams were Kynt & Vyxin in India (after last place in Italy), and Tk & Rachel in Taiwan (after last place in Japan).

That really depends on if an 11 episode season or 13.  in a 13 episode season you could still have 5 to 6 episodes left, after the 6th team is eliminated.

Season 1:  6
Season 2:  6
Season 3:  6
Season 4:  6
Season 5:  6
Season 6:  4
Season 7:  6
Season 9:  6
Season 10:  5
Season 11:  5

Now in 12 with 11 episode,
Season 12:  5

So if India would be the first leg down to 5 teams, we have anywhere between 4 and 5  episodes / locations.  Waiting to discover it the other location was just a flight hub or a actual destination.

I think we are going to see a "normal" 28 day race schedule for AR13, not the compressed 21 day schedule for AR12. That means that we have 12 more days to go if I am correct.

Here is where the concept of non-elim in Siem Reap was first made public. I just ignored it then because I don't agree, which is probably the best approach now unless we obtain specific supporting information.

I heard somewhere at TAR 13 Wiki  that they were going back to 13 legs but that is probably speculation
If this were the case, I would love this. Still needs to be confirmed, though.

I found a link on the Amazing Race Fan Wiki here but it looks more like just one person's random speculation rather than a fact, especially when you read their country predictions based on what we know now

Quote
TAR 13 will be back as standard 13 legs with 2 new twists (U-Turn, Speed Bump), as well 11 contestants with 8 elimination points. Double leg will no longer available on next season.
