The Jewfro guy is DEFINITELY wearing an AEPi shirt in that picture.
Thanks to Peach and her blogger friend, we've gotten a good look at the first team cast for the Judd Apatow demographic.

Your so funny Slowhatch

repost~

Remember our cute blogger who spent the day following a team at Ankgor Wat??

I was able to reach her and she has sent PRESENTS!

Quote
We were at Angkor Wat on the 4th May when they were filming the Amazing Race. We only saw one team at Angkor for the whole time we were there which was a couple of hours. This team was both male, one with orange hair and the other with brown hair and they were at the clue box at 11.30am. We also happened to see all the teams walking around Siem Reap town that evening and I recall seeing 6 teams. I would love to visit your website and I have plenty of photos I will send to your email address
....

And she sent these for now and hopefully will come answer questions herself soon!

Both threads now seem to be used for contestants, so I'll just put this here for now, since it's been getting the attention today. Move it if you want though.

My brother is a member of Delta Chi, and on his Facebook, has an application called "The Greek Community". The basis of it is that each Frat has their own facebook page, and it is seperated by chapter and school. Well I went on the Alpha Epsilon Pi opne for ASU, and it has 51 members. It's not guarantied that one of our boys is in here. Going through their friends, this guy caught my eye.

Older man whatever?

A day in Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia and it’s a 6-hour bus ride from Siem Reap. We were hoping to take the Mekong Express bus or plane going there but both were fully booked so we ended up taking a regular airconditioned bus which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we chanced upon the shoot of Amazing Race right across where our bus was parked!:) Photo-taking isn't actually allowed but we were able to snap some shots from the bus.

A 2006 Arizona State U. graduate is going to have a wife or girlfriend but not a child. There are 20-something women who look like teenagers.

I'm with you Chateau hes to old

Okay so, I wanted to touch on this as well, photo evidence page 1 of this thread. What I'm trying to figure out is are there 5 or 6 teams left leaving Cambodia?

Tonle Sap Lake

Message from Chrisrae:
*It was an African American couple. I just uploaded the only pick I have to my blog entry "cambodia's culinary delights." It's the last picture in the series. (1) photo evidence

Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand

* Hey everyone.  Glad I could help with the Bangkok pics and info.
*As Peach posted, I can definitely identify 5 teams and (7)think there was another but can't be sure.   .
*Sorry about that.  Actually, I was chatting with a crew member in the customs line when they told me it was a documentary and I asked how many people there are in the "movie" and just threw 10 out there as a number and he said yeah so maybe there are only 5 teams left.
*I can definitely say that the frat guys are the guys in my second set of pics, one with a yellow headband, one with a yellow hat.  They were doing pullups on the bus ride from the plane.  (2) photo evidence
*The 2 girls, one blond/reddish hair, one brunette, both from Texas.  (3) photo evidence
*The couple with their backs to me in the other shot is a team, they had a number on the packs. (4) Sarah & Terrance photo evidence
*Then there's the young guy with the spikey hair and his mother and (5) photo evidence
*another M/F who are together but almost positive they're not a couple.  (6)NO photo evidence
*That's all I saw in terms of contestants.
*I can definitely say there was no african american team.  There was one african american guy but he was a sound guy.  That's it.
*What else?  ummmmm, I didn't see any older couple with the group.
*We were pretty much waiting in the small Siem Reap airport together for over an hour so I got a pretty good look at everyone that was there.

1) African American pair ~Tonle Sap Lake
2) Frat guys~Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand
3) 2 girls from Texas~Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand
4) Sarah & Terrance~Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand
5) Mom son ~Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand
6) another M/F who are together but almost positive they're not a couple~Delhi, India via Bangkok, Thailand could be the guy in blue below, may or may not be paired with the blond in the cap with the green shirt?
7)  I can definitely identify 5 teams and think there was another but can't be sure

   thanks for the update peach

And some new info:

The photographer of this fellow

has sent the following info:

Quote
As far as your questions, the guy was by himself, though there was also a blond girl w a green shirt (not the one you see in the picture, she is from my group) and a white baseball hat also looking for whatever. I have no idea what exactly they were looking for, and the day I saw them was Sunday May 4, I think late AM my time. We are, I believe, 11 hours ahead of EST.

So now we have the 7 boats at Tonle Sap Lake:

The blogger said 6, but I count 7 flags there (the flags on each end are almost hidden--compare my arrows below to the original). Doesn't production often hire one extra vehicle/animal/etc. for tasks?

Since we were discussing this in this thread I'll post here~

Remember the blogger at this site?
She has sent more photos to jonlover at entermyworld.heavenforum

Good Job jonlover

Can you tell me something about the Amazing Race filming you have witnessed in Cambodia?

The bus we boarded
was abt to leave already when we got there. At first,
we didn't even realize it was for Amazing Race until
we saw them drawing out the Amazing Race Card from the
striped box. The shoot happened at a bus station in
Siem Reap. There was a row of trucks (like the blue
truck in the photo) so most likely the next challenge
was related to that. When our bus left, they were
shooting each vehicle and driver. So we didn't witness
much action:(

Do you remember the date you saw them? What time was it in the day?

It was May 4. Our bus departure was 730am.

Do you have a clear memory on how many blue coloured trucks were there?

5 trucks - pls refer to
one of the attached photos. Also each one had a driver
(w/ helmets on so their gender are barely
recognizable).

Is there a name for the bus stop or station where you saw them?

Chong Kov Sou Bus Station (Near Phsar
Leu)

regards,
Sweet Realiable Source

I'm pretty sure Slowhatch made a good call, the man in the blue cap with the green shirt is a producer but I won't give away his identity.

In Siem Reap the Chong Kov Sou bus station is located near Phsar Leu (the 'Upper Market') a couple of kilometers out of town center.

Maps HERE!

Hmmmm....

Well, we are only seeing production here and at 0730 are not yet expecting our contestants to be there yet, per airline arrivals.

So who was "pulling" clues? A production run through?

But very nice photos--thanks to JonLover and their source!
