Good question Neobie--he definitely said that. That post is a direct quote from his first response to my questions. He wrote it--not me!

and yes, according to him re the timing:

this all happened yesterday morning (Tuesday morning, Thailand time) so I would think they either just got to India or are on their way.  Actually, now that I think about it, one of them mentioned that they had a 4 hour layover in Bangkok before leaving so they should be in Delhi.  

Guess I need to go back for round two of questions, huh?

As Peach posted, I can definitely identify 5 teams and think there was another but can't be sure.   I know that sucks because you guys wanna know if people got kicked off recently.  Sorry about that.  Actually, I was chatting with a crew member in the customs line when they told me it was a documentary and I asked how many people there are in the "movie" and just threw 10 out there as a number and he said yeah so maybe there are only 5 teams left.

Yes ! they are definitely contestants from the Amazing Race Show. We were at Tonle Sap Lake and saw route markers (Flags in red and yellow) on 6 boats at the pier. There were camera crew but we did not see the contestants. Very exciting !

But Jason did not see the African American team, I mean come on you read what he wrote, the only AA that he saw was crew, the guy on the escalator, and we have proof that there was indeed a AA couple in Siem Reap so explain that    .

We can't say for sure that they were not either way ahead  or way behind the other teams, and therefore perhaps not seen by Jason?

He is only describing what he saw which may not be 100% of the teams, right?

I personally do think you are right about there being 5 teams left, but we can't assume this I don't think... unless I have missed something else?

If they were still doing the basket task mid afternoon, and the other girl was at the Wat around midday, then from what we believe of the task order, it could be assumed that they were not way ahead, so must have been either behind or eliminated...right?

Amazing race 3
Last post about the Amazing Race but the story's pretty interetsing. So got an email today from an old friend from law school that I had lost touch with and randomly thought about what she was up to recently and ridiculously enough, one of the contestants in the pics that I posted is related to her. I won't say which one lest she violate her 160 page confidentiality agreement but how ridiculous is that. Since my blog got picked up by these Amazing Race sites, she came across it looking for an update and saw the pic and saw my big head at the top of the screen. I can't get over the coincidence of me being on an airport bus in Cambodia with this girl's relative that she's been looking for an update on. Anyway, I've provided her and her family a great comfort by reporting that the "racer" is alive and well and I've been able to get back in touch with her. What a small world.

As far as your questions, the guy was by himself, though there was also a blond girl w a green shirt (not the one you see in the picture, she is from my group) and a white baseball hat also looking for whatever. I have no idea what exactly they were looking for, and the day I saw them was Sunday May 4, I think late AM my time. We are, I believe, 11 hours ahead of EST.

There is one team no one has considered in all of this. Our unkown Male/Unkown team. As puddin stated, it could be no one, but I think this may be saying otherwise. The dude is wearing a green jacket and white baseball cap. Say he's with this girl spotted by the photographer, and we might have our other male/female dating couple.
