So what do you all think? Can we dismiss the Dubai sighting now or did other teams go thru Dubai to get to Delhi? I'm not a flight person

eta: I ran Alicia's photos through the thingy and they came up, for example

They were seen on their way from Cambodia to Delhi  via Bangkok on the 6th right? And Dubai sighting was the 7th, along with the photographic evidence above? If it was a very tight leg in Dehli, or maybe a TBC, then they could be seen leaving Delhi airport again on the 7th with some teams having transit thru Dubai (a great hub with lots of different onward connections). Or is it just too tight timewise, even for some of the lagging teams?

I would rule out them having an actual leg in Dubai at this stage, but maybe (?) it could still work date wise as a transit point?

It's quite easy to get confused with dates, and of course we don't know what time zone the camera was set to either. There has always been a question mark over the Dubai spoiler, simply because it was a second hand sighting, the retelling involved alcoholic beverages, there is no photo evidence or secondary sighting to collaborate the story, and as some one mentioned earlier, a Jewish team *could* have problems with entering an Arabic country.
I still think it is too early yet to completely rule it out though as a transit point when we still aren't sure where the next destination is after Delhi.

I asked our friend Nivaldo lots of contestant questions, so here are the ones he was able to answer and so it seems the "Hippies" may have escaped elimination Leg1.

the key as in solving the phrase

Quote
Can you recall if the teams were bunched or did they come 1 team at a time?
one team at a time, but some teams had hard job to find the key and were bunched.

Can you recall which make of team was first? Which make of team was last?
I remember the first and the last. The first was an old couple and the last was a brown married couple and they had a hard job to find it, the woman waited beside me and the man was looking for the key. I thought he would give up.

Did the teams have a hard time with the phrase? or did any teams speak Portuguese?
heheh...It was so difficult to understand,,no one spoke Portuguese correct, but I understood...

What I think is that it would be impossible for a team to fly 1372 miles due west (265 degrees) past Delhi and then return that same distance to get to Delhi. It makes zero sense, so it did not happen. Dubai comes after Delhi in the legs as teams continue to fly generally westward.

Hippies in first could push them through to leg three and african americans last...

Puddin I know this is hard but can you ask him about all ten teams it could unmask the last teams and give us so much help, I would love to do it but I think that it best for you to ask...could you please

Thanks to Alicia, heres what she has to say .....

In my original email I had said May 7th, but we just looked at our calendar and it should have actually been the 6th of May. The time is disputed (between my husband and I). The photo says one time, but that could have been Thailand time and it could have been inaccurate to begin with. It was definitely late afternoon, early evening. Likely between 3pm and 7pm. We had a long layover and have since gotten rid of the tickets.

As an added note, the blonde/white haired chick was super antsy, practically jumping up and down, when she was stuck in line.

  Thank you, Alicia!

The May 6 date fits perfectly with teams arriving from Bangkok that day. This must be a second flight from Jason's, don't y'all think? Since the teams are different?

So we can assume two groups arr India latish afternoon-early evening...so maybe an immmediate Hours of Op??  TPTB seem to like the teams to have to cope on the streets for a night anyway!

So you are thinking they are all on the same plane?

I have to wonder about that based on Jason's excellent descriptions before...But surely there are other flights arr from Bangkok nearly together? They could easily be in immigration at the same time if their flights have anywhere close arrival times..

I see Son, don't see Mom. I'm not sure I see the frats.... Terrance and Sarah, okay if he is the one in the blue sleeveless Tee...

I'm going to have to Supersize these and take another look!

Well mom isn't there, but you can only assume she is somewhere. Just go on the contestant thread, puddin pointed out everyone there.

Heres the rest of Alicia's photos peachs.

Jason did not go to Delhi with them but he notes that he saw 5, maybe 6 teams , Cambodia to Bangkok. His photos were taken at the Bangkok airport.
"Anyway, sat in front of all of them on the plane where they were filmed almost the entire time"

Dustin recalls 3 teams on his flight from Cambodia to Bangkok

Remember, this blogger? he saw:
On Flight Between Bangkok and India
various couples. Some were partners, some were family, some were friends.

An interactive map of the park grounds can be found here

You can get a 360 degree panoramic at Panorama 12 (yellow flag 2nd from the bottom of the map from the main entrance)

Great find! Here's a photo taken from a  nearby ferris wheel. Because of the billboards and the buses, I'd nominate one of the fountains near the main entrance. (the way the soundmen are rushing around, it looks like Phil just barely beat the racers to the mat!)

I think so, but I can't find anything that matches our timeline. Here's a calendar from the links that Mrs. Shrek provided. There's a "comprehensive security" exhibit, but it doesn't start until May 11.

.... I'd nominate one of the fountains near the main entrance.

IMHO, based on your ferris wheel pix, and the pitstop pix, my guess is that Phil is smack dab right in the middle, right in front of that big building.     Talk about being conspicuous.  Didn't even bother hiding him.

eta: BTW, Matt is shown standing in the exact spot in his Moscow pix
