She looks like a undercover spy, very pretty though. I bet Matt was pleased hanging out with her . I was looking through Betsy's photos and theres another set (okay well I didn't notice before). Maybe you can find something spoilerish Boingo since you seem like you want something to do. :sucks eta: I just noticed that she works for creatv which we know well. And TVC which might be the same? http://www.crea-tv.com/Betsy: Work-kiti-work Apr 27, '08 11:22 AM for everyone Start: Apr 25, '08 End: May 7, '08 Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia Prep-Shoot-Wrap Tags: creatv, navigator, siem reap, cambodia, angkor, temples, tvc, shooting

Siem Reap blog~ 5/5/08 WAIT - THERE’s MORE!!! On the second to the last day in Siem Reap, Sara and I were enjoying a beer in the bar of our hotel. A bunch of men (lots of cute ones) started gathering, all part of some group. It sounded like they were talking fim and/or TV production and Sara and I were trying to listen in on their conversations. Just then, a big guy with a huge camera came in and so we had to stop him and ask. He would only tell us that he was working on a documentary and played way to dumb about what the show was or if there was a host (job opportunity for me?) or what channel we could find the program on later. This made me curious because I know that film and TV people love to brag about their work and what their are producing. Him being so secretive made me question the program. All week, Sara and I saw a special check-in desk for WRP. And onthe last day in Siem Reap, when I was at my computer, I did some research and found the answer - World Race Productions. As Sara and I were waiting to go to to the airport, I asked one of the hotel staff if WRP stood for World Race Productions and got a, “That’s correct.” And as we waited, we saw a WRP van pull up and two people get out with matching red t-shirts. There’s no doubt in my mind that the Amazing Race was being filmed there. It’s quite a let-down, though to realize that the contestants and crew are put up in 5-star hotels like the Le Meridian in Siem Reap. Very disappointing! Cheers, Shanna

Boingo,
The corporate address is World Race Production Company, 4120 Del Rey Avenue Marina Dl Rey, CA 90292. However, the other address for WRP is the one you found at 200 Continental Boulevard El Segundo 90245, which is the one on the trunk.

If you guys are thru playing with box's? I'll bump this up for Boingo. *The bahian capital is the scene chosen for the writings of reality American show "the Maratona", an international competition where teams cover some countries fulfilling a series of tasks. The program, that counts today on a hearing of more than 50 million people per year, already is being recorded in some of the main tourist points of Salvador. * In the morning of this thursday (day 24), the competitors of reality show had had that to go down, in the style rappel, the 70 meters of the Lacerda Elevator. To carry through the test, that called the attention who passed for the place, the filming team installed a net to the long one of the elevator. *Still inside of the actions of the program, new writings are foreseen tomorrow, of this time in the Maritime Terminal of Salvador, in the Commerce.* Until the moment, already they had served of location for the international production the Square of the Sé, the Inclined Plan Gonçalves, the Order Third of the San Francisco (Historical Center), the Slope of the Carmo and the staircase of the Paço

Thanks, Puddin. One says the 21st, one the 23rd, and one the 25th: but the guy in the red helmet (Branament?) hasn't moved an inch. Maybe the single lines went down first as support or guide lines for the cargo net. The white board in Matt's Brazil set mention a Joe Branam SR & Joe Branam Jr so good call Slowhatch http://www.branament.com/about.php

The new ones are the Inclined Plane (funicular) of Gonçalves and the Square of the Sé (Praça da Sé). Both are in the same area as the Maritime Terminal, Sandwich shop, Holy Sacrament Church (with the stairs), Third Order of St. Francis (near Sao Francisco Church & convent & cluebox), and the Elevator. Thanks Boingo , I think you have leg 1 is pretty well covered. yep, I'm about ready to move on... BUT that leaves the question about the pitstop Pure speculation, but as WRP and BVM love to use FORTS for pitstops, how about the Forte São Marcelo (that little round island west of the Maritime Terminal. Makes you wonder why they would have the racers go to a maritime terminal if not to sail somewhere. That somewhere could be the fort. Maybe they have to row themselves, as it's not that far. OK, my brain is overheating again.... must stop thinking.... must stop..... oh no, it's the "dancing muffin".... :sucks

Mosquito nets? Insect repellent? Ziplock bags? (Know just a little bit about military operations in the jungle, and these look awfully familiar to me...)
A chainsaw comes in handy for fallen trees, so...
Leg Two: the Amazon?!

...the drummers look like holdouts from the samba parade during Carnival. ...I really like the "clothing repellent".... never know when you'll have to defend yourself against an unprovoked "clothing attack"...

Leg Two might be in our hands, guys...
Following the whiteboard for the 24th, JJ 8006 for Paolo Olivier comes in from Fortaleza. (That gives the 5.45pm timing.) Now with the "BC" mystery solved by Chateau, we know "Bas Pot" leaves Salvador on JJ 8003. That flies from Buenos Aires, to Sao Paulo, to Salvador, to Fortaleza.
In other news, JJ 3179 for Giselle and JJ 3173 for Erin go back to Sao Paulo. TAP 156 for Darren Bunkley goes to Lisbon. (Lisbon? Portugal? Sequesterville?)
What do you guys make of this?
