Actually no, Lucky 13, it is a Salvation Army Youth group mini-race organized by their pastor as I explained.

But to RFF !

Plus Manukau City is a pretty boring place to film considering the other nice spots in NZ...

Maybe we start the leg w/ seven (7 boats were seen) and end w/ six?
Thats what I'm thinking now too, were missing a couple in the Bangkok to India scenario.

anyway it doesn't look GPS to me~

Looks way too big for a GPS...

Hi everyone!!
So I finally got the chance to check out the forum and sign up.
Apologies in advance as I have limited internet access at the moment which would explain any late replies.
I was checking the time stamp on my photos from Angkor Wat and from 11.30 - 12.30pm that was the only team that came through.
I'd be more than happy to answer any questions!
Just for curiosity sake the guy with the orange hair was really nice and managed to exchange a few words.
Cheers!!

Nikita, I think kiwi thought north's post was directed at him about your name, when in reality it is something else entirely about our racer's name.

Truly, it wasn't about you..please reconsider!

Get out there!

« Reply #487 on: June 04, 2008, 11:06:23 AM »

Hi Lorna, and thanks for helping out here.  Your photos are the kind of thing that drives this place.

About the time of day for your shots:  You have a team in the interior of the Wat between 11:30 and 12:30.  We have shots of another team (the Frat Boys) at the East gate to the Wat at around 11:30.  And we have a shot of Mr. Blue Shirt in the middle of the outside south wall at around 11:30 am (my sun-shadow estimate).

So it looks like a few teams were there at the same time.  I have never been there.  Is it possible to get the feeling that you only see one team because of the walls and the sheer size of the place?

ETA:  Opps, I mixed you up with the other photographer.  So, that means, Wow! I really like your pictures.  They are the best of the bunch.  The question still applies.  That is, how certain of The Frats' solitude are you?

There really is no way to say it right without getting it confused, first I said he isn't a "man" anymore, and that was confusing, so I changed it to he has a name, which once again is being misread. Nikita, I didn't mean you at all! I was talking about the blue shirt guy (who will continue to be that untill I can say something).

Lorna! Those pictures you took are great! I've actually been drawing them just for fun.

Thats what I'm talking about north, what good is keeping a secret? If its him then the word is out and no use hiding it right? It's not like they don't know that his name has already been brought up on the forum, as if they will forget that we might know his name or something .

Come to think of it there would have been another team there but they were leaving at 11.30. Thats what got my attention in the first place..the camera crew running outside. I couldn't tell you who it was though. But im positive the team i saw was the only one there from 11.30 because the guy with the brown hair was the only person waiting while his team mate was doing the road block.

Hi Lorna!

Did you ever see exactly where the team member doing the Roadblock went? And what they did?

We have been speculating that they may have had to go match up a face at Bayon...any idea if that might be right?

Thanks again for sharing with us!

I believe I have the great findings!

Thanks to Matt's Album in Picasa!
http://picasaweb.google.com/mattreccow/AmazingRace13

It includes a lot of places....Salvador, Cambodia, India, Russia, Auckland..... I believe it's true.

What noticable to me is the Sky Tower in Auckalnd (recycle from The Amazing Race Asia?) and Red Square in Moscow

I think the pic of Phil below is Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia

Pls spoil the rest for me!
