It shouldn't be, but out of all the potential teams to be 3-peaters, I doubt they will return.... :'(

Though I never REALLY liked team YouTube, I think they were good if not great for their first season, but on an all-stars.... They literally have no chance to compete and stay in, unless it's an early boot second-chance type of season :(

My interpretation of WRP's route planning:

START: Lake Eola, Orlando, Florida
Leg 1: to Santiago, Chile to Mt. Aconagua, Argentina
(I mean they've done this drive before so there's no problem)

Leg 2: to Mendoza to Iguazu Falls, Argentina
(Let's assume the rainforest related tasks are far better than the most recent example)

Leg 3: to Cologne, Germany to Luxembourg
(What a perfect way to give away some free Honda vehicles, yes?)

Leg 4: to Oslo, Norway
(Nighttime leg, possibly of the "congratulations now skidoo" variety. Bonus points if there's a reference to Of Montreal)

Leg 5: to Stavanger, Norway
(I NEED a Pit Stop on Pulpit's Rock. Bonus points if there's a wedding task concerning Grieg)

Leg 6: to Paphos, Cyprus
(Brb smacking you in the face with history and bathing suits)

Leg 7: to Tashkent, Uzbekistan
( Kazakhstan doesn't want us, Kyrgyzstan only exists on Sporcle and the other countries in that area are either genetic, Really Dangerous [:( at no Tehran leg] or lacking in infrastructure for WRP)

Leg 8: to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
(I do recall good episodes happen here so why not?)

Leg 9: to Da Lat, Vietnam
(and I do recall most trips to Vietnam have a second reasonably good leg so why not have a leg in Paris-litr)

Leg 10: to Uluru, Australia
(Monuments are fun. If anything I envision a leg ending in the evening with stargazing and camping)

Leg 11: to Sydney, Australia
(I know its unoriginal to have the penultimate leg be of the 'party time' variety but I mean Sydney delivers)

 FINISH: Ka'a'awa Valley, Hawaii
(Finish line by a dinosaur footprint? Why not?)

The lack of a travel advisory or warning makes this good enough for me <3

Otherwise I guess you could have a leg in Bishkek. It would def need a Sporcle-related Fast Forward though.  :yess:

I'd like a route similar to this:

LEG 1 USA to Tokyo, Japan (Japan  :luvya:)
LEG 2 Tokyo to Kyoto (two sides of Japan: modern and ancient)
LEG 3 Kyoto to Siem Reap, Cambodia (a good southeast Asian country)
LEG 4 Siem Reap to Queenstown, New Zealand (WE NEED MORE OCEANIA and New Zealand  :hoot:)
LEG 5 Queenstown to Invercargill/Bluff to Mount Cook Area/ Fox Glacier (yay for NZ and self-driving legs!)
LEG 6 Queenstown to Mumbai/Hyderabad, India (they both have potential but Mumbai has been visited before)
LEG 7 Mumbai/Hyderabad to Johannesburg, South Africa (rural areas outside J-Burg. Mainly used for access to..)
LEG 8 J-Burg to LESOTHO!  :luvya: (Lesotho has a lot of potential tasks could be in Maseru and nearby areas/villages)
LEG 9 Lesotho to Cologne, Germany (Germany is a great country and, while slightly overused, a visit to Cologne would be nice)
LEG 10 Cologne to Bremen (night leg self-drive? Double U-Turn for trouble...)
LEG 11 Bremen to Lisbon, Portugal (I know TAR23 just went there but we need more Portugal! :) )
LEG 12 Lisbon to Boston, Mass., USA (Maybe a Cape Cod finish; there's a beach called Race Point Beach in Cape Cod national seashore that would be fitting for a Finish Line)

I hope they will be back to my country Vietnam again but not in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city. There are a lot of other good places for TAR.

Due to the incredibly daunting amount of Legs in Asia that is literally taking up half of the season, here's a thought out route without Asia.
Teams will ride to the starting line by sloop sailboat. :yess:

LEG 1 (USA --> Papua New Guinea)/ San Francisco to Port Moresby; charter bus to Varirata Nat. Park
• Offroad tasks and self-driving is guaranteed
LEG 2 (Papua New Guinea --> New Zealand)/ flight to Auckland
• Tasks in Auckland, then drive to Tauranga
LEG 3 (New Zealand)/ while driving to Rotorua
• More self-driving & a TAR13 Detour Switchback
LEG 4 (New Zealand --> Argentina)/ flight to Buenos Aires, train to Rosario; bus back to BA
• Gaucho-themed Detour in Rosario with tango choreo RB in BA
LEG 5 (Argentina --> Botswana)/ flight to Gaborone; charter to Tsabong Airport
• Kalahari Desert
LEG 6 (Botswana --> Algeria)/ flight to Algiers

LEG 7 (Algeria)/ Tikjda area
• Self-driving to snow-related tasks
LEG 8 (Algeria --> France --> Monaco)/ ferry to Marseille and drive into Monaco
• Some tasks in France and a casino RB in Monte Carlo
LEG 9 (Monaco --> France --> England, UK)/ drive to Nice Int'l Airport and fly to Bristol

And to go along with that winter-favored route posted earlier, a summery one <3

START: Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO

Leg 1: to Calgary, Canada to Banff National Park, Canada
(Seriously, people have been complaining about Canada not having a "real" Pit Stop since TAR 9. Adventure sports, orienteering, possibly a rappel, y'know, basic leg 1 stuff)

Leg 2: to Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada
(So I WAS going to simply put in a Vancouver leg because that's what most people do but screw it, it's my fantasy race. Language tasks, dog race training, mining, y'know, basic leg 2 stuff)

Leg 3: to Chengdu, China
(blahblah China but Chengdu is fun and awesome and spicy and there HAS to be a forced game of baijiu roulette at some point in our edition of TAR)

Leg 4: to (+++) to Kratie, Cambodia
(the leg itself will be entirely in Kratie (your standard 'simple way of living in SE Asia leg') but the fun part of the leg is that teams aren't told how to get to Kratie - either through Phnom Penh or through Siem Reap. NEL because why punish people on a strategy-driven leg?)

Leg 5: to Bangkok, Thailand to Pattaya, Thailand
(...when we can punish them here   :snicker: Imagine the F4 elim of TAR 15 with the language difficulties and crazy mental tasks and alcohol and drunken locals, then imagine it with twice as many teams and with a Switchback to the Reclining Buddha FF (now a regular task)<3 )

Leg 6: to Doha, Qatar
(I mean if everyone here posts it enough, maybe WRP will actually host a leg here  :funny:)

Leg 7: to Bari, Italy to Matera, Italy
(whatever on the leg as long as the Pit Stop is here)

Leg 8: to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
(when is the last time we've had a good urban African leg?)

Leg 9: to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia to Gondar, Ethiopia
(coffee, goats, Amharic lessons, castles, and an NEL? why not)

Leg 10: to Toulouse, France to Andorra to Zaragoza, Spain
(rockets, product placed vehicles, and killer fatigue make for a grueling leg <3)

Leg 11: to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
(TIL: Santo Domingo is the largest city by population in the Caribbean. Imagine a less horrid version of the Panama leg in 19 with presumably a less awesome result)

FINISH: National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame Rooftop Terrace, Chicago, IL
(in 23/4 seasons I don't understand why the insanely spoilerphobic WRP hasn't yet decided to rent a roof out to host the final Pit Stop)
(also food-related memory challenge <3)

I hope Race come back to Thailand, my country, again. And make up with some good legs. The last one on TAR14 and 19 aren't really impressive. Especially the Bangkok II in TAR19. (:;)

The area they went is pretty redundant. They rarely touch the north amd northeast part of Thailand which had a lot of cultural things and specific traditions, but instead, THEY ALWAYS go to Phuket and Bangkok and those stuff. Which is really boring since it almost look the same every time.

Also, Had they ever done the Songkran things in the Race. It would be really cool to add a task with this water festival. Like seaching the clue in Holi festival in TAR13. This would be really fun to watch and can drive some teams to break down for sure.

Leg 4   Liverpool, England → London, England
Leg 5   London, England → Maputo, Mozambique

Leg 10   Kandy, Sri Lanka → Colombo, Sri Lanka
Leg 11   Colombo, Sri Lanka → Melbourne, Australia
Leg 12   Melbourne, Australia → Seattle, Washington

Good route, but 3 legs in the UK is a bit much. Similarly, the first 4 legs of the race are in an English- speaking country, Swaziland and Sri Lanka have decent English-speaking populations, and Australia and USA speak English, so there aren't too many possibilities for a Language Barrier, which is disappointing.

So I was in such a wishlist mood today, I went and created two complete Legs complete with "episode caps."
http://dryedmangoez.com/2014/04/15/the-amazing-race-us-finally-returns-to-the-philippines/
^These are the first two Legs in the Philippines.

And yeah, it's THREE! Legs in the Philippines since the first two Legs can be one super/double/TBC Leg and also since it will probably take 20 more seasons to return to the Philippines anyway.  Plus, it's just my dream to have TAR up where my family's from.  But also, we NEED Pig or Jig 4.0 Detour in Legazpi. lol

Also, I know it sucks that there's six Legs in Southeast Asia, but I definitely want a Nepal Leg and the only way to do that without having horrible logistics trouble with overly complicated flights (which we know TAR hates these days), I needed the Singapore and Mumbai Legs.

Leg 1 - San Francisco, CA, USA > Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines
Leg 2 - Bontoc, Philippines > Tuguegarao City, Philippines
Leg 3 - Tuguegarao City > Legazpi City, Philippines
Leg 4 - Legazpi City > Singapore
Leg 5 - Singapore > Kathmandu, Nepal
Leg 6 - Kathmandu, Nepal > Mumbai, India
Leg 7 - Mumbai, India > Johannesburg, South Africa
Leg 8 - Johannesburg, South Africa > Maseru, Lesotho
Leg 9 - Maseru, Lesotho > Brussels, Belgium
Leg 10 - Brussels, Belgium > Paris, France
Leg 11 - Paris, France > Reykjavik, Iceland
Leg 12 - Reykjavik, Iceland > Denver, Colorado, USA
