There wasn't time I don't think. TAR can do a "created" race most anywhere though.

Just a thought :P I believe they had gone to the Rakaia Gorge for a task? They may of gone close to the CBD as a tribute to the victims of the 2011 Earthquake but I'm not sure.

What's up guys?
I have ideas about an actual race on the forum here (thanks to all those on here for inspiration). Anyway, I have an idea for a route:

USA->Dublin, Ireland
Dublin, Ireland-> Naples, Italy (I already have a Detour)
Naples, Italy->Verona, Italy (I already have a Pit Stop)
Verona, Italy->Algeria
Algeria->Algeria
Algeria->Tunisia
Tunisia->Slovakia
Slovakia->Moscow, Russia (I already have a Roadblock)
Moscow, Russia->Nepal
Nepal->New Zealand
New Zealand->New Zealand (I already have a Detour for one New Zealand leg)
New Zealand->USA (Finish)

So, any ideas for Detours, Roadblocks, Route Infos, Pit Stops? Any suggestions? Any ideas for tasks? Any ideas for silly costumes? Any places to avoid like the plague?

Thanks a bunch in advance guys!   :hrt:
To me, the keys to a good race are a good course and entertaining teams that everyone can enjoy.

love Naples + Verona. I would like a WW2 themed task in Algeria, and i love Nepal as well. maybe a ski/snowboarding task in the Invercargill area of New Zealand. For Slovakia i would have a castle task in Trencin, just outside Bratislava. there's beautiful castles there.

Feel free to add something.
The Cappadocian region in Turkey is SO overdue, it's absolutely marvelous there with chimney rocks and the underground city. Bahrain is pretty useless after Kuwait and part of the UAE. Qatar is a must-see for me and a vacation spot. :wohoo:

As for the Finishing, we need another CHICAGO finish line! :cheer: A Raleigh finish line would be something unique. I don't agree with Finish Lines in San Diego or Houston though. San Diego isn't really considered a major city and it's like a hybrid between L.A. and Boston (mostly Boston) which will possibly be boring. If TAR can't head outside Houston city limits like most of the final destination legs now, Houston actually has nothing standing out. Been there once to visit a relative, the only place I would consider is the museum district; the rest is just going to be a crap leg.

This is partially biased being from the area but we need a Boston Finale. A great finish line would be the Lexington Green, just 10 minutes north of Boston.
