peachy, Chet is on Malakal and they're 1 man down so he couldn't set out. Airai - Natalie - has to set someone out. If Jonathan leaves before the IC no one will set it out.

geo, if Jonathan were removed at this challenge Natalie wouldn't be sitting out unless it's a divided challenge.

S1 is correct they were 8 v 8 until last night. Plus this is the reward challenge not IC per the captions. Sicne they are building and carrying things I bet Penner said you need my strenght. Plus he wanted to prove he is good. However I think this is how he gets the infection... the salt water aggrivates it and the sand when they are building. i think this is also why we are shown mostly the other tribe, they want you to think Penner is gone.

Jonathan is fine, hes a charismatic speaker being an actor.

Jason is the only one who I really can't stand at all. Has a big mouth, arrogant, thinks hes as good as Ozzy but isnt and is somewhat rude but cutting Jeff off during tribal at Ep 4.

Apparently someone said mabye Jason will still get burned by that fake idol, thinking its still real, but calls Ozzy out just in case to put everyone off?

Since Ozzy is Ozzy(as Joel said) everyone would have suspected he got the idol so Jason just convinently calls Ozzy out thinking he has the idol and Ozzy doesn't.

It was Season 2 when Michael got burned and had to leave. I didn't really like him but hated when it happened and how it changed the outcome of the game. His tribe was dominating the other and would have had a lead going into the merge until he had to leave. Much like Jonathan's tribe has a lead now.

I was thinking

maybe Jason is just trying to make everyone think Ozzy found the HII when he actually believes he has it himself. Basically saying "I can't have it because I found where it was and it was gone and Kathy doesn't have it and Cirie never had a chance to get it without Kathy so Ozzy must have it", just to throw everyone off. I seem to remember from a way earlier season that the number of votes previously cast against you in TC was used as a tie breaker or something...maybe they were just hedging their bets? And Tracey prob didn't want to vote for her friend...

Past votes did count in the earlier seasons but they quit using them in season 3,4,5 something like that, can't remember. I think they voted for Erik with his knowledge so they didn't alienate any of the favs. Or make them suspicious.

Boy, was that a rough episode -- for Jonathan! He was never my favorite Survivor (that honor would have to go to Yul), but I didn't want Jonathan to go like that!

As for why Tracy and Chet voted for Erik, Tracy didn't want to vote for her friend and I guess the two of them decided just to throw their votes away. Erik was the best bet for throwaway votes, and he gave them permission to do just that.
