The gates appear to be similar to gates at the JR station (Kansai Airport). Probably not at airport, but could be another JR station in Osaka. (Doesn't match any Osaka Subway gates I've googled, yet.)

It's near the Nishi-Umeda station, that might be a possibility for the caps. Map here; they also have a map of the Namba area showing Kuidaore, etc.

or maybe she had too much caffeine that day? I'm Japanese Aussie here haha. its so awesome that they get to travel to Osaka. Do Ron and Chris know Japanese or a little Japanese? I think it would have been humiliating for them to get eliminated in an Asian country if the Taiwan spoiler is right.

If driving a taxi through the congested streets is the Roadblock, how is this physically exhausting?

And it must be a roadblock since we can see the red roadblock clue in Christina's lap when she is driving.

Perhaps it means that when they finally get to the roadblock and before they read the clue (teams have to decide who is going to do the roadblock before they actually know what they have to do), Don is so physically exhausted he tells Nick that he has to drive since he is "too physically exhausted" to do so.

It's hard to tell from the caps, but if the robot soccer takes place at the Akazawa plant, then it's not too far from the other activities (if you want a PLEN, it's all yours--for $2390

This is getting weird. Maybe, as puddin says, the robots are at the Yodobashi store, which just happens to be just north of Hilton Plaza / Osaka Station. Weird how all these places are so close together.

I think I spotted a candidate for the Ron/Christina crosswalk close by also....

Osaka in the 2007 finals. Twice as exciting as real soccer, and a lot more action than Galaxy is getting out of Beckham for its $250M.

OK, let me see if I can get this straight:
Roadblock ---> Taxi
Detour (1) ---> Robots
Detour (2) ---> ? (unknown)

So what does that leave:
Kishiwada Castle - Get a clue? / pitstop ? (possiblly)
Rennyu statue Temple - Get a clue? / pitstop (possibly)
Osaka Clown - get a clue on the bridge? / eating task (unlikely, as they are typically roadblocks)
Fugu restaurant - probably only background shot
Racer says something about train? None of the previews shows anything outside Osaka?

AND DON"T GET ME STARTED ON THAT DAMN DRUM !!!!!!!

I'm leaning towards the eating task as the other detour for some reason - while it's usually a roadblock, there still have been some instances of it being a Detour (sausagefest of TARAS, octopus in TAR 4). If not that, then it could just be a miscellaneous task (which I've been missing in this season, so yay if true).
