So you're saying TK/Rachel are just starting the "strada verde" because the bus would be in Vinci, not Anchiano? The bus sorta resembles a Terravision bus that shuttles people between Pisa airport and downtown Florence; most Florence city buses are orange or teal (including this little bug  :cmaslol).

Three things to note:

1. Consistent with my earlier responses to GMAN and Colby on this issue, I will now state that I think CHATEAU's Bologna theory is all wet(Note that I could have said full of baloney, but refrained). We'll know soon enough.

2. One of the reasons is that I think start times for the Florence leg will be after a 24 hour pitstop. That will probably leave Nic and Don only part-way there and teams will have staggered arrivals into Florence.

3. Tomorrow's night's episode is scheduled to be 62 minutes long, so if you are taping it please note that or you will the previews of the following week.

CHATEAU's estimated checkin times, which are also the pitstop release times with a 24 hour pitstop, are:

Ron & Chris at 2:34 pm
Kynt & Vyxsin at 2:48 pm
Nathan & Jenn at 3:23 pm
TK & Rachel at 5:57 pm
Don & Nick at 6:29 pm

The first 3 teams can make it onto:

OU384 DBV FCO 1555 1700
AZ1679 FCO FLR 1740 1850

The last two are stuck with an overnight in Zagreb:

July 20 OU385 DBV ZAG 1940 2035
July 21 OU410 ZAG FRA 0655 0830
July 21 LH4060 FRA FLR 1050 1220

This is pretty easy to shoot down if indeed TK is on the ultralight before 7am on July 21. That would mean that my hypothesis is incorrect about 24 hour pitstop. The most likely event would then be a 12 hour pitstop and we would have all teams potentially on the same July 20 flights:

OU418 DBV FRA 0730 0935
LH4060 FRA FLR 1050 1220

Speed Bump

Traditionally we think of a speed bump as one of those annoying things that slow us down.  What if, for TAR, a speed bump is a bump in speed ... something that makes a team go faster, get to the front of a line, etc.

Just an early morning thought ... please go back to spoiling.

gator27, I think you're in the wrong thread. This is not the SPOILER thread. That is separate. This is for episode 7.

Apskip, here's how I think it will go down, not only do Nick and Don arrive in Italy through Bologna, but also all the other teams go that way as well.   :cmas3   The clue at the mat will read something like

"Fly to Bologna, Italy.
Find your next clue on the marked cars parked at the airport."

The clue from their cars will direct them to our favorite Florence garden.  The first team gets to the Florence clue around 4:55 pm.  It tells them to drive to the airfield about an hour away.  They get there too late for flights and have to wait until dawn.  Also in the package is the Fast Forward.  They may try for it but see that it too is closed by the time they get there and it does not open until 9 am.  So the earlier teams go to the airfield for the Roadblock.  Nick and Don go straight for the Fast Forward.

Here are the flights that the earlier teams can take:

Ok, is it TARAsian Fan who has the link for sports overruns?  Does CBS even have a late game today?  (though I suppose I could just check the tv guide for that question).

If our expert, Chateau, is correct teams must arrive on different flights.  At least we see Don and Nick at the road divide to Florence and Milan in the middle of the night.  Which reminds me of that famous philosopher, Yogi Barri's famous piece of advice.  "When you arrive at a fork in the road take it." :cmas51

Hmmm..where are they? That is prob the bunch site ...

And yes, I too think that Anchiano will be the pitstop. I'm just hoping for Florence as the site of the first cluebox.

And praying hard for something to save the Goths tonight...a penalty for someone else? A speed-bump? Anything??  :cmas5

I know! lets just hope the Goths can catch up and survive this leg. Everything seems to be pointing at them, so maybe CBS is just trying to throw us off. They made it SEEM like Nate and Jen were gone in Lithuania...  :cmas27

Houses / Mansions, Vinci

No one knows the precise location of Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace, but this typical 15th-century Tuscan house is in the general vicinity and probably shares much in common with the house where he was born. It's in Anchiano, 3 km (2 mi) from Vinci, and can be reached easily on foot or by car. It has a primitive interior -- it hasn't been gussied up for tourists. Note the printed inventory of Leonardo's library. His tastes in literature were wide ranging, from the ancients to contemporary (15th century) authors.
