EP5 commentary
« on: December 02, 2007, 11:53:39 AM »
Bad news for some but probably good news for our beloved TAR ratings-- so sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad.

*Note to self, ask Santa for a satellite dish*

Thanks to Ken TARAsia Fan

Ok, here is the distribution map for the CBS NFL games this Sunday. Remember, for much of the Eastern and Central Time Zones, there will be an early game.

But there is a significant portion in the East and Midwest that will get the Cleveland/Arizona game. The following areas face a potential delay in TAR:

Atlanta (sorry, Peach)
Western North Carolina
Portions of South Carolina
St. Louis including surrounding areas in Illinois
Minneapolis including most of Minnesota
Upper Wisconsin
Eastern North Dakota
Eastern Michigan
All of Ohio
Parts of Indiana
Parts of Kentucky
Most of West Virginia
Most of Pennsylvania including Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (sorry, puddin)
South Jersey

Sorry guys!!

At least you only have to worry about a delay, I have to worry about the snow storm causing my satellite not to work  :cmas13

I'm pretty sure Ken says you might have a delay peachs.
Now I think if I stand on my back deck and aim my antenna towards NY I might be able to pick it up at 8 but do I really want to stand in snow and 27 degree weather?  :cmas27  :cmas51

I'm here!  :cmas22

And I'm also keeping an eye on the BCS Selection Show to see who's playing for the national championship. Should be interesting.

PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:

Phil: Eight teams left the remote village of Bingo, Burkina Faso, to the capital of Ouagadougou. Kynt/Vixsyn got a warm welcome from a village. Nate/Jenn battled Azaria/Hendekea for 1st. A photo finish, and a tough pill to swallow for Jenn. A new element of the Race (U-Turn) caused tension for Shana/Jenn, and angered Lorena/Jason, sealing their fate.

Seven teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

Wheres that emoticon?  And exactly what color is stupid?

But as Ken says, college bowl series.  It determines who ranks where and who gets to play who.

Ok, no one asked me to stop.

Phil: This is Ouagadougou. In the middle of what was once a tribal kingdom, Hotel Deville, the 4th pitstop in a Race around the world.

Will Shana/Jenn's disagreement lead to more dissension?

CLUE: Az/Hend, 6:45 am. Fly to Vilnius, Lithuania.
Phil: When they land, find marked cars and drive to St. Anne's Church for the next clue.

Az conf: I tell Hendekea exactly what I'm thinking, to her face.

Nate/Jenn, 6:46 am.
Jenn conf: We have come SO close, we are FULL of fire! We will just RAGE through!

CLUE: To book your tickets, you must use an official ticketing office.
Oops ... Burkina Faso's airport is closed this morning.
Not allowed to book tix on the internet, but Hend wants to use it anyway, to search best flights.

Jenn wants to wait until 9:00 when everything opens, and will check Air France on the 'net.

Ron/Christina, 7:17 am.
Ron: Lithuanians make some great pastries, as I understand it!
Nic/Don, 7:18 am.
Nic makes fun of Gramps' forgetfulness.
Kynt/Vyx, 7:22.
