Well the only things I can think of is if the helicopter site is far enough off site to require a taxi--or if they have to get to a zodiac dock.
If they were doing a scheduled flight they would just stay put.
Maybe they have already pulled #'s there for heli flights or something--or like you say it is HoO at the heli place.
But seems like they would be rushing a little more.

Anybody with any other ideas?

Just tying up a few loose ends....peach already identified EDEE at the Kaumalapau Harbor in Lanai, so maybe the Barbies are at the same location (on land), given the boat in the background appears to be the same.   :-\

Sold!!
Kaumalapau Harbor - Another paved stretch of Highway 440 which, like the one to Manele Bay, cuts through miles of what used to be pineapple fields and is now hay fields, connects Lanai City with this main island port. Pineapples, vehicles and freight are shipped out from this harbor. Other than this activity the simple harbor is of little interest to outsiders, but the dramatic views of the sea, high bluffs, and jagged cliffs on the stretch of the coast are worth the six-mile ride from town.

I had fun today looking up sites on Lani can't wait to go. See you guys in about 3 hrs off to watch grandkids play ball.

Well puddin, that was a very.......thorough job! I think we can safely say that is the harbor--now we just have to figure out where they went!

Uncle Bill--try this one: ocnraftn@maui.net

That's Hawaii ocean Rafting and might be possible. The best thing would be to email a copy of Boingo's pic to your contact and see if they know who the company is (see reply #137).
Here is the pic ready for email: http://img15.imgspot.com/u/07/120/17/OceanRaftingandSnorkeling.jpg
Good job on getting a reply at all!

So it looks like when the teams get to Kaumalapau Harbor they will find the DETOUR CLUE.  Both K/D and E/D seem to have them in hand.  So how did they get here?  Is this the first location they have to find on Lanai? And, what are the two tasks?

They get there by the Zodiac right?

Some of these diving/snorkeling/looking for dolphins operators do it all.

It could be possible that they drive themselves to Shipwreck Beach--
do the kayak out to the wreck thing (all teams therefore task?)
and then take a zodiac to the southern part of the island for the sea cave/buoy/snorkel task, (surf or snorkel for Roadblock?)
then continue in the zodiac to the Harbor
then go somewhere? Munro trail?

But which is Detour and which is Roadblock?

OR maybe detour is Dive or Drive--take zodiac to dive site vs drive up Munro trail??? I kinda like this one!

I think ( like I said I think  )
Guam to Honolulu -->HofOperation
Fly to Lanai
task all teams/ Drive -->Shipwreck-->clue
Detours Drive/Dive/Swim/ stand up paddle surfing? /Zodiac's not sure other water tasks mixed in there this is the confusing part.
Helicopter back to Honolulu
Honolulu to San Fran Strybing Arboretum
Roadblock end city..how well do you know our partner per clue.

Well great! Not much left to work on then!

E has the clue, D looking at a map? Then to what?

So far we have for possible detours/roadblocks:
Seen:
Snorkel at buoy--is this the same as the sea cave?
Paddle surf

Unseen but mentioned:
Drive  ??Munro Trail?? mentioned in all the guides as a drive/tour thing

Kayaking at Wreck seems to be for everyone...

We know teams are at airport at some point>>running>>maybe to cars?
This would make arrival at Lanai from say Mauii by Zodiac less likely.

Zodiac therefore just transport--Shipwreck Beach to Harbor??

Help please Chateau!

If we knew which comes first--airport or wreck or harbor it would help!

:-\  so that only leaves us to determine where this vidcap of C/M and the zodiac fits in.

...note, Charla is wearing same "bathing suit" she wears at shipwreck.

You guys!

This just occurred to me--do we know for sure that that shot of C/M and the zodiac is at our Harbor? Because it could be another location for surf board? Might not be the harbor?
