Hey everybody, just wanted to wish everyone a great evening watching the finale tonight.  I'm on the west coast so I have a few more hours longer than all you east coasters.  :)  Regardless of who wins tonight I think I will be happy. All 3 teams have made for a great All-Stars.   They all deserve it in their own way. Even being in the final 3 is an accomplishment all it's self.

peach and Chateau, and whoever else have fun at TarCon!  If you get to talk to Charla and Mirna, ask them if they remember Izad?!  It would be cool to hear if they knew that Izad spoiled their visit to Malaysia and that him and his friends are the people that helped them out.  Oh, even if you talked to any of the final 5, it would be interesting to hear what they have to say about Izad's Malaysian spoiler and if they recall seeing him.  That would be interesting to hear.

Thanks to everyone for a great season of spoiling.  I've enjoyed reading all the hard work you put into spoiling the episodes every week!

Puddin just think what e were doing last time their was a season finale.

Damn that was a freaking awesome day.

This place is going to be lonesome next week, then we have the official CBS pickup announcement on the week of hte the 15th (or so).

AND THERE BETTER BE A PICKUP NOTICE!!!

And then the wait for seasons 12's (hopefully) start up.

God, I might have to start watching Big Brother... :umn:

Now that this season is winding down, still thinks eason 10 was the most spoiled?

Keep an eye on Atlanta Airport May 19.  Something newsworthy will happen. :yess:

We had that right: a 24-hour pit stop in Guam (had to rest they up for the crush to come without a break) Chateau's estimated times were right on: estimated D/K at 11:45; actual 11:53; estimated for E/D 12:55; actual 12:55; estimate for C/M 1:45; actual 1:29.

What threw us off quite a bit was the "quick change" artistry of Mirna. To wit:

Drive to Guam Airport - Green top, grey shorts.
Walk to Plane - Green top, grey shorts
On the Plane - Black top, Green sweater
In cab at HNL - Black top, Green sweater
In Helicopter - Green top
Getting on the Zodiac - Green top, black shorts
On the Zodiac - Red bikini top, black shorts
Gettin off Zodiac - Red bikini top, black shorts
Driving Jeep - Green top, black shorts
Getting into Helicopter for return to HNL - Green top, black shorts
In the Helicopter - Red tee shirt, long black pants
San Franisco - Blue sweater over red tee shirt

So the Detour in Lanai was to ride the surfboard or dive in the cave; we had pretty much figured that out.

Final two-way ROADBLOCK (If you want to call it that) was perfectly hidden.  There was a hint of what it was going to be, but nothing else.

Why did they only try for flights to Oakland and not San Francisco?  Or did I miss something?

Somebody has some pull (perhaps the NW agent in Guam) as D/K and E/D start olff in Tourist Class, on NW 10 from NRT to HNL but after door is shut we now see them in plush Busiiness Class seats for the flight from NRT to HNL

And finally, if Puddin says something, do not doubt her for one minuite.  Her boot list was perfect to the end (sorry about that Michael)

All in all one of the best TARs and we had a pretty good time tracing the actual travel in real time and figuring out the rest. TPTB threw us a couple of curve balls, but not too many.

Now a summer of travelling and possible sightings for TAR12.

Ciao

I don't understand the connection between Kamaka Air and Sunshine Helicopters (still haven't seen it yet), but Chateau was spot-on for the location: 144 Palekona st.  :yess:

You know, none of you will believe me, but as much as I was pissed off seeing E/D run around the corner, I actually KIND OF smiled when I saw how happy they looked.

Yeah, really Eric was the only racer I think that truely hungered for the win more than Dustin & Kandice.

I also liked how he choked up talking about Danielle.  And look he knows something about her father. Aren't all the haters surprised.

I am also very glad that it wasn't a episode where one team was a head at all points until the very last event and lost because of that.

Even myself a fan of Eric & Danielle wouldn't have wanted them to win in a leg that they were behind in for the wholeleg  (or not first for most of it or at least a good part of it).

Frankly, I don't see any obvious connection.  Maybe they used Sunshine choppers because they don't have their name splashed all over the aircraft, and Kamaka Air just was a convenient location along the small craft runway at HNL Airport.  IIRC, Sunshine is based in Hilo and Kona, and don't have a base in Oahu.

Did we miss Manele Bay (wooden) docks?  No such docks at the commercial harbor.  ???

In one of hte thread someone (I think Micahel or Kogs) has posted pictures of a diving task, perhaps those docks are part of it.
