I've  sent an email to the Macau Dragon Boat Club asking if they have any information.

Wow--good job everybody!

Neobie, Slowhatch, Boingo, puddin--great finds!

Boingo--is the name of that one really TurboJet? Because we should be able to find out exactly where it leaves from...

Nevermind--got it! Turbojet

;D  FWIW

That looks just like the boat my husband road from Japan to Thailand when he was in the Marines. I have pics of it at home (I'm at work). I'll have to check it out when I get home.

;) FWIW, since the last pitstop was on HK Island, they probably will take the ferry to Macau from the Turbo Jet Terminal near Sheung Wan.

So there is a pitstop in Macau? Probably D/K conf telling us about the deal they made with EDEE

Dustin Conf: We're going to race like were in last place.

Two things:

Why are you sure it is making a deal with E/D? Did I miss something? Seems like E/D are further behind the BQ's and maybe more unlikely to be there at the same time...I was thinking D/O??

And just throwing this out--since it looks like we have a pitstop or at least a confessional in Macau--should we reevaluate our Guam info?

We know now that the 5th and 4th teams out are travelling with production and can be used as decoys.

Maybe what foxburn got from chevy re Guam was D/O acting as a decoy and they go out in Hong Kong?? (Always assuming the bootlist stays accurate ;))
Quote
Charla/Mirna were first with (again) a huge lead
Eric/Danielle were next followed by...
BQ's and...
Cha Cha Chas's (still in it in guam apparently)

unknown if this was at a detour or a roadblock, of course...

This HAS to be the TBC leg because it wouldn't make any sense of doing the TBC the finale, with a stop on hawaii. The fianle is one hour long so the editors wouldn't make a TBC leg only one hour (half hour one leg and half hour the other)
So:
Hong Kong>>>Macau - TBC
Macau>>>Guam - Elimination
Guam>>>Hawaii>>>San Francisco
This makes more sense than having Guam>>>Hawaii with a pit stop on hawaii

Logic leads me to believe that EDEE & the BQ's make the deal.
Up thread I wrote that the teams might have to find a clue that tells them to go to Macau from somewhere in HK and it sure looks like EDEE are running around HK streets for some reason and this could get them ahead of O/D & C/M putting the BQ's & EDEE together to deal with the Yield Deal ..
just my opinion of course
weather underground Macau Dec 13th 2006, it was in the 60's all day and mainly cloudy.
also light rain in the 14th.

Unless  the remaining legs are :

Hong Kong>>>Macau - Elim
Macau>>>Guam >>Hawaii TBC
Hawaii>>San Fran =Finale

just thinking here....

Thanks puddin!    :kissy:   I was too stuck on the time thing...

We have proof that the HK leg was on the 12th of Dec..The leg might begin on the 13th of Dec? and we have a witness that says she was boarding a ferry with the Cha's and Phil on the 14th heading back to HK from Macau so?

I;m still thinking that that stuff in the blue tub looks like plaster of paris to me--used to make casts. Could they (E/D) be making some kind of a mold or mask using plaster of paris?

And is that also the same place with the bamboo pole? Are they related? The room E/D is in looks nicer than the one C/M are in....

Incidental nice shot of Eric's watch-- 5:30??
I'll keep looking for cookies/ bakeries peach, so many in Macau you wouldn't beleive it  I'm just guessing here.

So do we think that the blue tub shot with E/D and the bamboo shots with C/M and the BQ's are different or the same place?

If different--why do we have four things? (tower, dragon boat, blue tub, bamboo)

Hmmm, maybe it isn't a detour choice but a do something to get your next clue in Hong Kong...

If the same place, why would they need a piece of bamboo to make cookies? for that matter, why would they need a piece of bamboo to do something with what looks like to me like plaster of paris and the cloth to make a mold/cast? :lol3:

Now I'm hearing Oswald say Coook-ees!

Hey Boingo! )-**  Can't you tell we are spoiler starved around here? We're grasping at cookies!
Nevermind--I thought you meant puddin and me beating dead horses which probably applies too! Have a cookie! :kissy:

And don't forget about the funny cars.

Do we have any idea how far apart the teams were at checkin? D/O should have the largest gap. There must be an equalizer somewhere but I looked at the Honk Kong to Macau ferry schedule and they run all night.

Okay...I'm getting there! One big cookie stirrer??

I've just put on too many casts--the blue tub still looks like plaster of paris to me! But i guess the white bag could be sugar or flour instead?

Hi sups:hithere:

I saw a nice timeline guesstimite yesterday--I'll try to find it again. But I think they thought that each team was about an hour apart from the next one...

:-\  OK, I'm bored.  Just for kicks, there is a Dragon Boat Statue at the base of the Macau Tower (which you can see through the tower's glass floors).  Freaky!  :o    Well, I did say I was bored  :groan:
