the thing that stands out the most to me is that there are vehicles where M/C are where as most of the wavy street scenes that I've seen are pedestrians only ...

Couple of questions: (and I'm working on a list of all the time-related stuff for this episode too--FWIW)

Why are E/D looking relaxed and happy here at the ferry?--since they were in last place arriving they should be hauling ass. If this a TBC and it is on the way BACK to HK airport....

When are E/D in a taxi? Must be in HK on the way to the ferry IMO because we see no other taxis in Macau. And that is not a Moke--someone is driving them.

Peach - we see D/K in a taxi in the web promo (kandice is doing some weird thing that makes her look like a fish ?) and I don't think that would be them on the way back to HK beacuse if it were a TBC episode it would end with which ever team gets to phil or the "keep racing" clue first...I don't think they've ever continued to show that team during a TBC episode until the following week. I'm guessing E/D are just having a laugh at something else

Ok--forgot about BQ's in taxi--still think that may be in HK on the way TO the ferry...

Possibly, but we see the BQs reading the "caution yield ahead!" clue and it looks really early in the morning, but when they are in the taxi it looks like the sun (covered by clouds of course) is fully out

TPTB are screwing with the lighting in these pics--filters I say!

Chateau's fame must have spread! :yess:

This (ferry I assume?) is where Mirna gets wet...

Poor Mirna!

if that's the ferry why wouldn't she be wet at the jump(in the pictures of her waiting for Charla she looks dry to me) but she looks wet at the detour?

Oh Mirna - you so craaaazy!

Anyhoo, so here's the order of things I've got on my "leg list".

Ferry > Yield (somewhere at Macau Tower where Chas get yielded) > Roadblock (pull a number - walk and jump) > Detour (E/D look like they're in first place to me - just guessing because of demonstrator) > Mat (Casa Gardens or Ruins of Saint Paul's Cathedral)

About the detour, I think it might be called "By boat, or By car" or "Paddle it, or Drive it" or "Bash it, or Beat it". I SUUUUCK! The only reason why I think that's the name is because it might be focused around the delivery phase of the task (noodles by car, drums by boat).

About the mat, have we already located the Pit Stop? I'll assume we haven't and say it's either the CASA GARDENS or the RUINS OF SAINT PAUL'S CATHEDRAL.

Also just a bit of trivia, there is only one Toys R Us store in Macau and it's an "express" one meaning it's quite small (unlike the ginormous ones at the malls).

lol tell me I'm slightly right on some things  B:)

Back to studying anatomy  (:;)

Down with alli-- :waves:

We made a list of things we know here...we know the tasks and the Pit-or-Mat stop.

But the order of the tasks Detours/Roadblocks/Mokes/Garden are TOTALLY up for grabs--I haven't changed them because I keep changing my mind!

Have a look and then tell us what you think...

It all seems to fall into place, however I still have an irking suspicion that the cars are used for the Noodle task.

Edit: where are my manners? THANKS PEACH!  :hearts:

OK, I am really leaning towards this being another NEL, with no TBC episode this year. I agree peach, my mind keeps changing on who's infront, what gets done when, etc...

Gosh puddin--the more I think about it the more Q's I have!

Have teams ever had to rent their own cars? If provided, they could be anywhere.

Car rental can be done at the Mandarin or the Ferry Terminal.

I am slogging my way through the whole thread looking for time related stuff.

But I keep coming back to this picture as my biggest concern about the whole Ep.

Michael has convinced me that the clothes match here (not that they can't Do laundry and wear them again later but...)

If this is a confessional--how can it be a TBC?

If not a TBC--what?

Yeah I seem to get that they interchange between the pink T-shirts and the blue jumpers.

No, what I meant is like...only 3 teams aloud at the detour at once... ( i was making a comment on makz3d's comment)
Go figure  :snicker:
makz3d  if you read back we already discussed that E/D's station is out of sight in the Phil preview and their station is near the front.. by the windows. I'm not posting the pictures again....look back a few pages.

page 20
http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,11890.msg185132.html#msg185132

Okay, I've gone back for the hundredth time (really and truly hundreds of times ) and reread the messages from pg 20 to current.

I do not think the "station" by the windows in the front??????? is where E/D did noodles.  This doesn't look like a full setup as the station appears to be 2 parts and the extension is not on the station by the windows.  It's probably where they show how to mix and prepare the noodles.

I still feel that there are 3 stations and E/D haven't started.  I also feel there are 4 stations and the station E/D uses was not shown on camera.  There's a chance it's a 1st come, 1st serve (3 stations) however since only 3 teams are doing it it doesn't matter.  There's a chance there were 4 stations.  I have a 50/50 chance of being right.

I have skimmed and read this thread many times.  Right now I have an idea that I read, that I think was stated in this thread earlier in the week.  I can't find it.  I've done a search of all RFF.  But did the poster use K/D, BQ, BQ's, Beauty Queens, Queens, Dustin and Kandice, Dani/Eric, E/D, E/Dee.  I tried different names for these 2 teams and still can't find the message.

Hard to say..I can't see Eric's Bamboo nor Dee's noodle's

 Muchas cervezas and NASCAR ???  Gordon & 3  :yess: I don't know whose Bamboo it is but it's on that table and how could you miss Dani Girl's noodles?

eta:

Comparing these pics (on pg 20) the blue flour bowl here does not contain as much flour as the one on the table behind C/M's.

Dustin appears to be ready to measure and/or finish rolling out and slice her noodle with the cleaver in front of her.

C/M's cleaver and measuring stick/roller are still on the far end of their table. It appears that the "YQ's" will finish ahead of C/M.

Here are my thoughts..

1. Roadblock comes first after the clue at the ferry terminal. There should be bunching at the entrance, but I doubt that if E/D can make it before the opening, BECAUSE the tower might open earlier to avoid any tourists and not disturbing its usual opening hours, AND we haven't seen any pictures of E/D waiting outside the tower.

2. And the shot of E/D at the ferry terminal smiling may be because they are asking someone for help, either for money or direction. It seems no reason to stop at that point.

3. Teams probably would not take rickshaw to the tower because I feel that's no way to do this, because the road to the tower is probably only for cars, and it's quite far away I think (even 5 minutes by car).

4. D/K and C/M probably do the detour before E/D because it's not likely that 2 teams are far behind 1 team at this point of the race. (I don't know how to explain though, may be wishful thinking?!)

5. E/D smile at the detour maybe because they are watching the demonstration, and they have some funny or dirty thoughts in thier minds so they smile.  ;D

I really hope they go to the ruins of st. paul cathedral, it is the landmark of Macau!! Don't go to some unknown places like they did in Hong Kong! And why don't they go to any casino? I am wondering if they will go at the start of next leg?

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while. My computer is giving me problems.

 :jumpy:HAPPY 1000TH POST MICHAEL!!!!! :jumpy:

Also, here's my take on the episode:

  • Teams take a ferry to Macau.
  • Something else inbetween (lol)
  • Detour-O/D choose a different one from the rest, BQ's finish noodle detour 1st, E/D 2nd, C/M 3rd
  • I'm probably wrong about this, but I think that the yield comes before the roadblock, because they have to go to the tower first, and when they are skyjumping, they are leaving the tower. BQ's and E/D arrive at the tower @ the same time, and BQ's ask E/D not to yield them. We don't know who yields whom.
  • Roadblock comes AFTER YIELD (skywalk/skyjump). Charla performs it for her team.
  • Teams go to Pitstop/tobecontinued mat. (I think its a pitstop btw) Order: E/D, BQ's, Schmirna, Cha's. It's probably a NEL, so the Cha's are marked for elimination

Thats my take on the episode. Like I said, I could be wrong.

A lot of unknowns, but the scenarios all make sense; you takes your pick.  The fact that it is raining is some scenes and not in the others throws the time lines out of wack.

My guess still remains that the Chas are Philiminated!  This is the eighth and final elimintion leg.
