Well it might be early but I'm guessing the BQ's might have yielded C/M?

No I meant next week, since that would explain why Charla was so mad at them, and called them yield queens! Or maybe not! There are only a couple of episodes left and I'm interested to see where the next yield will at!

Kung Fu Warriors!! Hell YEAH! * Conflict erupts between two teams when one pair attempts to push their way onto a crucial flight before the others. * Teams conspire to work together to take Dustin & Kandice out of the race. Will the strategy pay off? *Teams get a kick out of their next destination when they're challenges to break down doors and fight off Kung Fu warriors. [attachment deleted by admin]

This show is difficult to get a team eliminated. But by talking about strategy it does help. Like last season by talking about ways to maximize the 30 minute penailty on the BQ's (which they plained to all stay on the same tasks thus hopefully making sure no team fell more then 30 minutes behind). And while it didn't impact the race due to the wait of cab drivers (and the teams not being able to see which detour they choose). It certainly was teh smartest and most effective way to work together so far to eliminate a specific team.

I guess were looking for a movie studio? Car stunts & Kung Fu Warriors eta: *HK hasn't got a movie making studio as such as these are private businesses, they wont disclose too much to the public. *The worlds most prolific studios are in Hong Kong. Visit http://www.shawstudios.com/shaw.html for information. link [attachment deleted by admin]

I have a feeling that IF it works, it'll be on non elim (i think there's one left)
Hmm, i feel stupid for having to ask seeing as i've only missed maybe 3-5 shows in the entirety of TAR but is it possible to yield twice? or is like a fast forward where you get one yield and one yield only?

I'm *pretty* sure that you can only use your yield power once.. that makes it sound like some sort of super-hero thing.

A Team may use the YIELD to stop another Team only once throughout the entire course of the race. However, there is no limit to the number of times that a Team can be YIELDed by the other Teams.

Hi, i'm new and i live in hong kong. i read your guys' posts every few days. keep up the good work!
anyways, im not sure if this will help you or not, but the buildings in the D/O scene at the stunt car place don't look like any of the buildings near shaw studio. i live in the unviersity right next to shaw studios and as you can see,the place is pretty isolated from the city.
also that big billboard reminds me of one on hk island near north point, but there are others in hk.

No luck of finding the match with the building
I also think it is unlikely the Shaw's studio would be the place shown in promo. What I think is the production team somewhere finds a large piece of vacant land specific for amazing race only.
And I see there are only a few buildings in the background. But there are 3 buildings (one with the large sign) particularly exist. And ships are seen. So it could be quite a remote area near the harbour.

Kai Tak airport? (The local scenery may have changed from the pictures below, as land use there has been in a state of flux since the airport shifted to Chek Lap Kok nine years ago...) Yay Hong Kong movie industry!

but I just woke up nice life! But I got a surprise day off today! Boingo--I was wondering the same thing! I got nowhere googling around Hong Kong re race tracks, race car driving schools and the like...But Macau seems to have a lot going on! They are host to the Macau Grand Prix and something called the Guia Circuit which I think is a real race through city/neighborhood streets? Can anyone identify the car? Could this be something arranged through the car manufactor? Thanks to neobie and schwartzmoor for some great ideas! Love the idea of the airport (that was one scary airport to fly into...)

So The night E/D confessional from the Malaysian leg is in Hong Kong. Lots of Chinese characters... I only recognize the one for "tea." Kung Fu and Car flipping are the Detour choices then. What's Kandice (?) holding? Maybe she needs to deliver it to someone through the obstacle, kung fu style course. Or coud it be the roadblock?

Oh man, the Hong Kong leg is going to be so awesome!
Climbing looks like a normal housing estate, so I'm thinking it's in Shaukeiwan/Siu Sai Wan. It's a reference to the usage of bamboo poles in construction (see: Rush Hour).
Yes, 2382 2280 is a Hong Kong phone number. I'm out of town right now and am pretty tied up, but I'll try to get to the restaurant to figure out where it is, by the next 48 hours, I promise!
