Yeah with 6 teams left at this point its time for that stupid intersection and for sure either the NEL or Uberleg as well as the Fast Forward..lol remember what happened to Tyler/James & Rob/Kim << they got so screwed with the Fast Forward LIPS!

haha oh yes - that was a great episode

Well..... we did lose David & Mary that episode..

In TAR10 it was long overdue with their two NEL last-place finishes earning thenm Marked For Elimination status. Having the Chos fake out Dustin and Kandice once kept them in, but when on their own after finishing the intersection with Lyn/Karlyn Mary's "let's be nice guys" instincts sunk them. Saying bye-bye to Mary and David in TAR10 was appropriate and their invite to TAR11 was one of the great tragedies of our time.

NEXT TIME ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:

Phil: Danielle loses patience with Eric.
Arguing, talking over each other.
D: Grow up!

Phil: Charla suits up to take on a formidable foe.
Charla trundles around in knight's garb, then gets tossed off a horse

Knights--woodcutter/peasant--dark forest....

Brothers Grimm anyone?

Looks like Black Forest or Eastern Europe, IMO...

Not much to work with here!

Gniew Castle Tournament
The 13th century Teutonic castle in
Gniew, near Gda´nsk, is perched on
top of a hill surrounded by town
houses. Throughout the whole
year re-enactment events are organized
in Gniew: a show presenting
European crusaders recapturing
Christ’s grave in the Holy Land, a
colourful medieval banquet with
period costumes, music and menu,
including a favourite dish of Polish
knights – the “Saracen bone broth”
– jousting tournaments and more.
If you feel confident enough, you
can also try your hand at the bow
or crossbow. A programme called
“Life in a Medieval Castle” con-veys the atmosphere of the place
as it used to be, inhabited not only
by knights, but also monks, flagellants,
traders, beggars and other
colourful types. Every member of
the group can choose a role he or
she would like to play.

What date are we on in TAR time?

PUDDIN, the Charla/Mirna and Oswald/Danny and Uchenna/Joyce and Dustin/Kandice arrivals at the dock in Dar-es-Salaam were on Saturday Dec. 2. Their trips across to Zanzibar and finsh at the pitstop were all on Sunday Dec. 3.
Eric/Danielle arrived at the dock Sunday late afternoon and finished up 3 hours behind U/J adn D/K Sunday night.
Joe/Bill and Ian/Teri got across to Zanzibar late Sunday night, but hours of operation stopped them until Monday morning Dec. 4 at the museum. After that, they went through the rungu toss and to the pitstop fairly quickly.

I predict that there will be a mass bunching of the top 5 teams getting to the next site, which I still think has to be Africa and probably in the Nairobi area. The Guidos will be left behind because they are almost 24 hours behind C/M and O/D and about 20 hours behind U/J and D/K.

PEACH, nice stuff and I'm not saying it couldn't happen but GDANSK is about 180 miles from WARSAW. That's a considerable distance to go to and from. Closer alternatives would be a better bet.

Thanks apskips!!

from Phil's interview...

We were in Europe this last time, and the teams got so spread out, and that's part of what made the whole series tough this time is that the separation was huge.
And there was a spread of seventeen hours from the first team to the last team [one time].
So the first team had left, and I was still waiting five hours in the middle of the night, in this cold location.
The only place to be was on the floor of an old building. This one journalist was like, "Wow, you're on the ground trying to sleep?" And I go, "Yeah, it's not like I can go back and lie down in a hotel."
At one point we didn't get to a hotel for almost four days. When we did get to a hotel, we were checked in for two hours. I took a shower, slept for an hour, got woken up and didn't even have time to unpack my bags, and we were gone again.
You just have to do the math. I still have to get in a vehicle and get from point A to point B, and still wait. The only time we're really stationary is at the pit stops, and the longer they leave us waiting there, the more of a nightmare our schedule becomes. For instance, in that European leg, the first team had a five hour head start on us leaving!
Five hours is a long time.
They get on a flight ahead of you to the next place, and then you get on the ground and I'm meant to go explain the Detail, Roadblock, Yield or Fast Forward before I get to the Pit Stop.
Well, if they've got a five hour lead, they're already through all those challenges, sometimes, and I've got to go straight to the pit stop. Then we've got to work out how I can back track, to go back to these places. Now if it's a two or three hour drive or a plane ride, it becomes a nightmare. It's not a picnic. And I love it, by the way! I carry my own bags and all the rest of it.

..JOE

* A disagreement sparks an intense argument and name calling between Eric & Danielle.
* Frustration levels hit a high for Charla & Mirna when locals completely ignore them and refuse to help.
*Joe attempts to stop a plane by running out on the tarmac.
