Yeah, I was watching it again last night on OLN and it looked like it to me still but I thought maybe some teams (maybe the ons not in the dash not to be eliminated) get on the flight.

REALITY TV, it's not when you leave, it's when you arrive(remember COPA). By studying the flight schedules into Calama from Santiago, you would know that it's highly unlikely that anyone will make it in the same calendar day that they leave Hacienda Yanahurco. Th question is who will make it to Santiago in time to catch the first flight at 640am the next morning. The answer is anyone who can make the 1805 flight out of Quito to Lima. If a team doesn't make that, their chances of being on that first flight are not zero, but they are quite low.

REALITY TV, a tradition from last week that is worth continuing is the poll question on how said the episode title line, which for episode 2 is "Beauty is Sometimes Skin Deep." I suggest you add that to your request for places 1 through 10.

It is my understanding that the Amazing Race rules since the inception of the Yield always allow for it to occur on any leg. What you see on TV is the fact that it seldom gets used in early legs. Sometimes the editing shows this and sometimes it doesn't. The reason for non-use is quite simple. A team expecting to go far in the race is going to save its Yield so that it will be available on one of the last legs for a strategic situation and not waste it early in the race. Since all the teams are expecting to do well, nobody uses the Yield until later in the race.
