Is this really a Pitstop--I'm not seeing a mat? Can anyone be sure that is Phil? Who can do a high-res??

Because if that is a Pitstop--complete with a Greeter--then it probably isn't a TBC--or so they are saying at Sucks...

Are you definitely saying Ushuaia first, Slowhatch?
Nope. PA and Ushuaia are a lot to put in one episode, but Puddin's right it's definitely doable. When the web promo arrives we might know for sure.

Okay--whew! They all have to go rub Magellan's toe in the Plaza, you know!

And remember they are there until 11/28--that's a lot of time.  I still think we are looking at some kind of continued episode, and Romber will survive for one more week.

Now if we're getting the zodiacs already next week (that was on 11/26)---then there is still something special that we don't know about for those two other days--maybe just enough time to squeeze in Antarctica!

Either that or they have a 60 hour pitstop...

And now I'm really thinking chartered flight from Puntas to Ushuaia--time seems to be moving PDQ!

you can see the greeter in the cap on the mat by phil, and they would not have a greeter if it is a tbc.

The surprise promised in the episode 4 preview is almost certainly the elimination of Rob and Amber. Nothing else would be suitably monumental and it does fit the boot list perfectly. Episode 4 is highly probable to be elimination based on everything we know. The interesting question that remains open is how the teams get from Punta Arenas to Tierra del Fuego National Park near Ushuaia. there a re few options and they have been reviews previously in the SPOILER thread. Summarizing, no scheduled flights exist on Sunday 11/26, by water is too slow, and that leaves ferry to Porvenir and then either bus or U-drove car from there to the park, an 8 to 9 hour drive. Charter flight is also a possibility, as indicated by GEORGIA PEACH below before I added this sentence.

**Ushuaia, Argentina

posted on Monday, Nov 27, 2006  saw the Racers on 11/25 or 26 ??

Alter a 7 hour flight with a terrible hangover from Thanksgiving, we arrived in Ushuaia, the southern most city in the World!!!! It really feels like it…the sun rises around 4:30 AM and does not set until 10:30 PM. We went on an excursion that took us through the Beagle Channel where we stopped at several islands to see the sea lions, birds, and some famous lighthouse. The following day Dave and I headed out to the Tierra del Fuego Nacional Park. We did a few small treks and at the southern most point of the park where Route 3 ends, we ran into contestants from the AMAZING RACE!!! (that might be the most exciting thing we saw in Ushuaia) Dave and I tried to run and get in on the action but we were ignored. PS, it is soooo staged. I don't have many pics because I need my battery to last longer

I have a gut feeling that the episode title is attributed to Romber, in response to Charla/Mirna for crying out loud.

CBS web clues are up.. Confirms an intersection!

I bet the last one is pertaining to Rob and Amber and Dustin and Kandice.

Weblues:

**Confusion at the detour puts one team's race chances in peril when a long standing rival overtakes them. Will they recover in time to stay in contention?

**Lies and deceit catch up with one team at the End of the World. Is this the end of the race for them?

**After reluctantly agreeing to work together with another team, treachery ensues and one team makes a critical error.

The flag cap turns out to be another view of the pit stop: you can see Phil and Yellowjacket standing next to the sign.

It's a little fuzzy but you can definitely see Phil. There's a small plaque next to the mat: maybe it's a "mirador" or viewpoint in the park.

The new airport at Ushuaia has the same sort of wood/masonry design.

In an un-interlaced version of this frame I can read this plate.  It says Arentina in the white part at the top.

There are some steps leading down from some kind of tower (maybe Lapataia, but not necessarily); you can see Uchenna holding a red card running down what looks like the same steps.

Puddin,

Did you capture that?  I saw it and thought it had to do with when they were one before and didn't watch it.  It's not on now and I went back to my History to try and find it and couldn't.
