Sorry, puddin I screwed up on operation of my digital camera(2nd time I had used it) and ran out of space at the wedding. No pictures could be taken of any of my sightseeing. I did buy a few select postcards (which I believe are superior to photos anyway) and am organizing relevant pictures from the travel literature that I brought back. I will be sharing these with the small RFF contingent at TARCON XI.

Yes, TARCON pictures are a must...from EVERYBODY....I'm not going to TARCON sadly so maybe I can just super-impose a picture of my face onto somebody standing beside Dustin and Kandice so you can all match my face with a name :)

I have peach running a little mission for me at TARCon, I must say, I love her for it!

Oh that park is nice!

I hope they go back to the longer run to the finish line this season. Last seasons was so short and you didn't really get to see any of the scenery.

Strybing San Francisco Botanical Garden is owned by the city of San Francisco. It occupies 55 acres within Golden Gate Park. It is operated by a public/private partnership between the nonprofit Strybing Arboretum Society and the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department, who bill it as a "living museum of plants

Great site!

And it is a beautiful place!

Wish I could add some of my own but it was pre-digital days!

There's bound to be at least one stop/task between SFO and Strybing. If anyone lives in the area, there's still time to check out the film office (it's in City Hall, which is a positive thing).
Back to maps. An interactive Lanai map.

While looking for sea caves  :diver: I found this university site that contains shoreline images of Lanai. Included is a hi-def overhead shot of Shipwreck beach. (click to zoom)  ftp://ftp.soest.hawaii.edu/coastal/webftp/Lanai/pdc/lanai_north_05.jpg

Really really nice Slowhatch--thanks!

I don't know exactly where they park--but looks like they are in for a difficult run followed by a difficult row--hope they slept on the plane!

Viva Ecudaor!

This is not a map. Earlier on this thread you will find a review of Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Food's visit to Ecuador. Samantha Brown's visit to Ecuador, one of my favorite countires, will be on the Travel Channel next Wednesday June 27 at 830pm EDT.
