I have a thumbnail for now  ,I have to wait for CBS to update for the larger picture ( I hope ).  "Episode 1101" -- Host Phil Keoghan waits as teams race to the Pitstop on THE AMAZING RACE: ALL-STARS, which airs on the CBS Television Network. Photo:
Miami, Florida to Quito, Ecuador ( November 20-23 ? ) looks like the starting line is the Charles Deering Historical Estate, Miami FL. and the first pitstop is the Hacienda Yanahurco , Quito, Ecuador. ( both locations verified through phonecalls by georgiapeach ) No FN Usernames Left @ sucks ( posted on 11/20/06 ) @ 1:46 pm They're currently here in Miami. So far the teams I've seen (that I recognize) are: *Rob & Amber (S7) *Joe & Bill ("Team Guido" from S1) *Charla & Mirna (S5) *I think John Vito & Jill from S3 are also in it ----------------- *At the gate, I only saw Romber and JVJ(?). I saw Charla & Mirna talking to the ticket agent getting their tickets, and cutting a bit for the camera just after they purchased them. There were two other teams and Team Guido after them. I think Team Guido was the last team in line, but again it was hard to tell, because they were in a big cluster including the 6 cameramen and sound guys assigned to them. All I know is some tall guy with kind of a big nose wearing something that looked (from a distance) like a straw cowboy hat was up at the counter talking to the agent. * They're at Gate A7 of Miami International Airport waiting for an American Airlines flight to Quito, Ecuador * I thought they were scheduled to leave at 3:05, but it turns out they were leaving at 3:50; so I got there too early to see all the teams * Romber was done at the ticket counter about half an hour before Charla and Mirna. By the time Charla & Mirna left, 2 or 3 teams had caught up. Charla almost left her passport and ticket with the ticket agent. He had to call her back to get them. * I don't know if this will help, but Rob & Amber were wearing their matching Red Sox caps, and Team Guido were wearing their fleece jackets with "Team Guido" stitched into the back. So, if the players were instructed to dress similar to the way they dressed last time they were on the show. |

Wow puddin and Chateau! Poor Mirna--who can forget her previous chasing of cows in a corral (starts at 02:53) --and Charla's comment about what she might have to do to them? Could this be similar? if they are at that golf course they have to be on the 18th or the 1st hole by the clubhouse see'ing how you can see the big building by phil. also i bet they take cabs to the airport since they will be driving in ecuador.

I don't think it's that same golf course anymore. The landscaping is really different.
It must be someplace else. But we will find it because now there is plenty enough information to nail it down.
And I wonder if he meant to say "This is Equador, Jackass!!"

Just got off the phone with a great guy in special events at the Crandon golf course...
While CSI did do some filming there recently, neither WRP or Amazing Race did--and yes he did seem sincere.
He did seem to recall hearing that the film crew stayed at the Ritz though, but couldn't tell me anything else...

im guessing they are taken to the starting line by the speedboats in the preview. now what we dotn know is if they drive them selfs to the airport or have to take a taxi from where ever they are at or by the speedboats that take that back to miami |
