Thanks Kogs--I guess it is good to know but I'm ready for the detour! --still hoping for dune buggies!

Found this video on google video...they go to some of our places, and interestingly show rock climbers at Todra Gorge, so I guess that is another detour possibility. Just use your fast forward (hee) and don't waste time with the rug dealer!

Did I miss something? Because I'm pretty sure it was a 36 hour pitstop based on the Sprint phone extra footage...

With 36 hours they would still have left in the morning, just the following day.

But  --no dune buggies--and they could have done camel trekking! Missed chances...

puck71 found this

"It's looking like this was a 36-hour pitstop. The teams checked in at Kiev in the evening of Saturday, June 17. According to the episode, the BQ's got a flight connecting through Milan arriving in Casablanca around 3:00pm. There are no such flights that I could find on June 18, but there is flight AT0951 (Royal Air Maroc) on June 19 from Milan to Casablanca arriving at 3:00pm."

Is there a really good shot of the blue man who handed out the clue in the antique shop?

There is speculation on other boards that that was really Phil in disguise...

I saw that one--but is that the man in the shop?

If he is, then I agree--NOT Phil!

NORTH REGION NEWS

Morocco film mecca for Hollywood productions

RABAT, December 06 -- At this time of year, Morocco resembles Los Angeles with its pleasant days and cool nights. But when it comes to filming, the country is hotter than ever.

Paramount Vantage's "Babel," New Line Cinema's "The Nativity Story" and MGM's upcoming "Home of the Brave" have shot there in the past year -- as did an episode of CBS' "The Amazing Race." Universal Pictures' "Charlie Wilson's War" just finished shooting there, while New Line's "Rendition" and Warner Independent Pictures' Paul Haggis mystery thriller "In the Valley of Elah" are lining up shoots in the near future
