CBS Press :AN IMPROMPTU ALLIANCE BETWEEN TWO TEAMS CRUMBLES WHEN THEY BOTH TRY TO DITCH EACH OTHER AT A CONNECTING AIRPORT, ON "THE AMAZING RACE 10," SUNDAY, OCT. 15 "I Covered His Mouth, Oh My Gosh!" -- An impromptu alliance between two teams crumbles when they both try to ditch each other at a connecting airport, on THE AMAZING RACE 10, Sunday, Oct. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Tension escalates as one racer's slower pace causes their team to miss a bus. One racer tries to align with another team, offering to lead them to a travel agency where they may obtain help racing to the next destination. The racer simply asks that team to remember the favor down the line. Trying to be practical jokers, one team pretends to make flight reservations on a fake cell phone while another racer gets nervous and borrows a local's cell phone to make actual reservations, causing the jokers' plan to backfire.
WebClues: One racer tries to align with another team by promising they will return the favor " down the line".But can this racer be trusted ? An impromptu alliance between teams crumbles when they try to ditch each other in a connecting airport. Tension escalates between teamates .Will they find common ground or will their team be ripped apart? |

that's definitely india and i didn't even watch the video yet...i'm trying to think of places that they have yet not visited in india... chennai (madras) is probably on the top of the list. Also bangalore and hyderabad (these are all in southern india) are very likely metropolitan centers!!!

I think New Zealand is out of the picture for sure. Remember that the most likely flight they were on into Kuwait was from India. No time for Kiwis.  |

1. I think the people that asked me for money did have backpacks; don't quite remember.
2. The picture of the cars was at the towers (hence the large tower in the background); there was one car that had yet to arrive when I took that picture.
3. They most likely came from DEL (Delhi, India); based on the times.

 That's Vietnam in the inset map. Remember that teams can't enter Noi Bai Airport without tickets in hand? Where would teams take a train to get on a flight to Chennai? There's no useful service between Ha Long Bay and Hanoi IIRC. An intermediate stop somewhere? Cathay Pacific's office is at "G/F, Hanoi Tower, 49 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi". No offices in the Ha Long Bay area. |

I'm not sure where the train is, exactly. Chobro are wearing the same t-shirts on the train (the fake phone) as when they're sitting in the tuk-tuks. I've looked at photosets of different train stations  (I'm assuming it's a train station), but no luck so far. |

Nice catch  . So, as Neobie noted, the teams get their tickets at Hanoi tower before going to the airport for fllights to...somewhere in India (there are flights to MAA, but maybe the train trip was ordered, like at Erlian, so the producers had time to jump ahead). |

If the teams are to get on a train anywhere between Halong Bay and Hanoi, it has to be from Haiphong. Based on this website, trains depart from Haiphong at 06:00, 08:20, 14:35 and 18:10, stopping at Long Bien Station (08:25, 10:42, 17:00, -) and Hanoi Main Station (08:35, 10:55, -, 20:00), which aren't too far away from each other anyway. I suppose everyone will get on the same 6am train, so all that matters is which station they decide to stop at... If the teams were headed directly to Noi Bai airport, getting off earlier at Long Bien and catching a cab, is the best bet. If the designated travel agency happens to be deep into the city (the Cathay Pacific office is at Hai Ba Trung, 5min walk from the main station), then staying on to Hanoi station may prove to be the better choice. Are James/Tyler at Cathay Pacific? It could be that David/Mary and Lyn/Karlyn got tickets at a travel agency, then are trawling Noi Bai Airport (like in TAR3) for better flights. |

Sure looks like New Zealand is a goner. Looks like more than one leg in India to keep our time line correct. Also no Singapore. Wonder why they leaked the vidcaps early?
Everyone accounted for except the Cat and the Mouse; unless, unless, the editors are playing more tricks and they have survived a NEL at the end of leg 4.
You guys are now on your own. Its off to Amsterdam tomorrow mornig (TAR 11 on board? wouldn't that be loverly!
