"I Covered His Mouth, Oh My Gosh!" -- An impromptu alliance between two teams crumbles when they both try to ditch each other at a connecting airport, on THE AMAZING RACE 10, Sunday, Oct. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Tension escalates as one racer's slower pace causes their team to miss a bus. One racer tries to align with another team, offering to lead them to a travel agency where they may obtain help racing to the next destination. The racer simply asks that team to remember the favor down the line. Trying to be practical jokers, one team pretends to make flight reservations on a fake cell phone while another racer gets nervous and borrows a local's cell phone to make actual reservations, causing the jokers' plan to backfire.

that's definitely india and i didn't even watch the video yet...i'm trying to think of places that they have yet not visited in india... chennai (madras) is probably on the top of the list. Also bangalore and hyderabad (these are all in southern india) are very likely metropolitan centers!!!

That's Vietnam in the inset map. Remember that teams can't enter Noi Bai Airport without tickets in hand?

Where would teams take a train to get on a flight to Chennai? There's no useful service between Ha Long Bay and Hanoi IIRC. An intermediate stop somewhere?

Cathay Pacific's office is at "G/F, Hanoi Tower, 49 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi". No offices in the Ha Long Bay area.

I'm not sure where the train is, exactly. Chobro are wearing the same t-shirts on the train (the fake phone) as when they're sitting in the tuk-tuks. I've looked at photosets of different train stations

(I'm assuming it's a train station), but no luck so far.

. So, as Neobie noted, the teams get their tickets at Hanoi tower before going to the airport for fllights to...somewhere in India (there are flights to MAA, but maybe the train trip was ordered, like at Erlian, so the producers had time to jump ahead).

If the teams are to get on a train anywhere between Halong Bay and Hanoi, it has to be from Haiphong.

Based on this website, trains depart from Haiphong at 06:00, 08:20, 14:35 and 18:10, stopping at Long Bien Station (08:25, 10:42, 17:00, -) and Hanoi Main Station (08:35, 10:55, -, 20:00), which aren't too far away from each other anyway. I suppose everyone will get on the same 6am train, so all that matters is which station they decide to stop at...

If the teams were headed directly to Noi Bai airport, getting off earlier at Long Bien and catching a cab, is the best bet. If the designated travel agency happens to be deep into the city (the Cathay Pacific office is at Hai Ba Trung, 5min walk from the main station), then staying on to Hanoi station may prove to be the better choice. Are James/Tyler at Cathay Pacific? It could be that David/Mary and Lyn/Karlyn got tickets at a travel agency, then are trawling Noi Bai Airport (like in TAR3) for better flights.

These 2 shots look like they are arriving at the pit stop to me. Peter is throwing his bag down and Tyler/James are congratulating each other. If so, they both look happy so neither teams placed last. If this the pitstop maybe it is the Shelter Beach Resort. It is next door (just up the beach) from the Crocodile Bank. There are buoys in the water marking a swimming area like you would see at a resort.

I wasn't expecting a commercial for this episode and will try to tape it later ..it shows the racers doing a driving test in India in one of those Tuk Tuk's or Rickshaw's...it almost seemed like a Roadblock as I only saw Rob doing it . The Curry was also mentioned .

Hello! I'm new here to this forum. I read in here all the time, and I figured I would go ahead and register.

I have a couple of questions to ask:

1) Who do you think says the episode title quote: I'm thinking Dustin b/c it looks like from the vidcaps that Kandice is helping her to hold the crocodile, while Dustin is trying to wrap the crocodile's mouth.

2) Do you think all Teams will be on the same flight out of Vietnam? I'm thinking no for some reason.

What does everyone think?

Welcome DG. You may be right about the bunching. Teams are seen in the Cathay Pacific office; if they use CP outbound they're limited to Hong Kong (see map), connecting from there either through Kuala Lumpur or Mumbai. The CP website lists only two daily flights HAN-HKG.

I support the multiple flights out of Vietnam theory. Remember that the Cho brothers ty to bluff teams into thinking that they are getting reservations using a cell phone on the train. One team bites on the bluff and may actually get reservations.

It looks like the connecting flight from Hong Kong to Chennai would not have gotten there until 4:45 am the next day.

I found a better way that goes through Bangkok. Take Vietnam Air #841 departing at 8:25 am and arriving in Bangkok at 11:35 am (its got some stop or connection in VTE, I can’t get the decoder to work at Airwise). This arrival is at the new airport BKK.

Then make your way to Bangkok’s old airport DMK (Don Muang) and catch IC flight 732 departing at 2:25 pm and arriving at 9:00 pm in Chennai.

I think the Detour comes before the Roadblock because SeeBS always chop off a 1-minute clip in the first half of the episode and send it to TV dot com or IGN. Somehow Tyler/James ended up in the late afternoon as Chateau pointed out.

Because of the football game last week, TAR didn't start until 8:30 (something like that). Unfortunatly, I wasn't home and forgot to readjust the time just in case. Because of that, I missed the last 1/2 hr of the show.

So questions:

Who came into the pitstop 1st, 2nd, etc. Also, does anybody have an idea as to when the first team got to the pitstop and do you think the teams came in close together or far apart?

If 6 teams make it to Mauritius I think this is were we will see a Fast Forward .
EP5: India NEL or maybe a TBC? 7 teams left
EP6: India to Kuwait ( Kuwait 7 teams spotted) ( unless its India /India not Kuwait )
EP7: Kuwait (on 6/9) and off to Mauritius (on 6/12) thats if no superleg in India ( Mauritius 6 canoes/kayaks and 5 teams spotted ,team 6 takes the Fast Forward ?)
