Now it looks like the horses are PART of the DETOUR, so the two tasks might be load cans of water and carry them WITHOUT SPILLING, of course,, by ox cart (and we do notice several teams having a bitch of a time and they may then switch to the TRAI task. Then proceed on to the ROADBLOCK. The other task could be to ride the horses over a obsticle trail or perhaps herd cattle (which do not see). So the DETOUR could be PAIL or TRAIL. AND the ROADBLOCK could be FLAME THE WOOD PILE (thus the fire extinguishers!)

On the checkin times I will stick with the ones I put up (I think Dukes watch is correct). Turns out that I could find a clear shadow on a hillside bulding (left of the highway as they drive in) that is consistent with 9:15 am. It really helps to have a square building oriented so that one side is lit and one is shaded.

Heard a couple of "original" team names last night.... "The Bumpkins" and "The Barbies".

No more :jumpy:cheerleaders! By By Birdie Chateau, you let us down, you were 30 minutes early on your arrival times across the board. Tut Tut. But all in all we had it pretty much down to the nitty gritty (even had the actual pit stop pegged early on) Now on to ep 3. Vietnam??

Sorry Puddin, But did you notice that Tom & Terry and Lyn & Karlyn got flipped in departure order vs checkin order? nevermind. I suspect there were some time credits/penalties handed out. I'm pretty certain nobody got to the pitstop location before 9 am.

I was hoping Phil would come to the archery range to Philiminate them. The whole archery roadblock would have been really cool at night. Makes you wounder if the production team had hoped for a night time roadblock, but the teams were too quick ... or almost a day too slow.

I really though that the Firing arrow would be a lot more difficult. They seemed to have had an easy task (except the cheers).
